just keep on playing the game, the game itself gives u instructions. thats how i did it, and everything will work out. just read every sign and talk to everyone, because they give u hints

and the best part about the phantom sword is that if you hit a phantom with the spirit of power equiped, you can kill it. But only if you hit if from the back.
