The good mayor could have gone a long way if he had allowed legislation to arm citizens! Why is it that the rest of Pennsylvania allows open carry of a firearm, and respect the rights of citizens to self preservation, but Philly is in the dark? Sure, Philly allows citizens to get a firearms license, but they make it so much harder than the rest of the state. They also harass law abiding citizens who carry! These points aren't stated enough.
There's really no advantage for black people/poloticians to say it and there's no quicker way to be called a racist if a white person says it.
Inner cities have been falling apart for decades and something has got to change.
