I miss this band. I walked into their show at the old Continental DIvide (NYC), and fell in love with them. I still have the album they gave me, and I've bought a few others since. I hope they do more. Fan for life.

The guitar player Grant told a music blog that they broke up in April of 2008. He said the singer & drummer moved to Chicago. The bassist started a family. Saying ya broke up is sometimes what bands do when they need a break. They've been going non stop since college./5 years of non-stop gigging and recording wears on a band "marriage" - I hope they miss it and reunite. But I thank them for their amazing songs no matter what.

In the old days[ I'm told] a band this good would have had a much faster bigger career- but the internet means everyone gets to have a turn, & being xtra good doesn't guarantee xtra success. Kinda lame. Wish we had "official" internet DJs that could just feature the good stuff for us. Rodney Bingenheimer kinda does. The Eames Era probably made a lot of "best" lists.
