I couldn't agree more, Elton John is an absolute master in his field. This particular song, although not one of his greatest known hits, it is my favorite. I probably count for half of the total hits on this page. When I listen to it, it builds up such an emotion and breaks down all the barriers holding me back in life. when i was 17 my girlfriend died of meningitis while i was working in portugal i dealt with the grief by writing her name in the sand on every beach of every country i visited we always said we would travel together this was our song and after i wrote her name in the sand i looked up at the sky and simply said "for you vanessa" this was our song thank you for posting it. that was 20 years ago.

Another one or two years and I´m probably be the first one having listened to this song more than 10.000 times. Still today, after being my alltime favorite for 17 years now, there are times I listen to it 5 - 10 times a day. I NEVER will get tired of it. NEVER!

I love Elton, when I listen to him live makes me wanna cry, but from happiness because he gives me a piece of heaven. I get so emotional, even when the song is not sad but he is so out of this world that is nonesense, I love to see him and listen to him. All my life I have loved him, since I was a little girl, now I'm 25 and I love his music and his talent more than ever. Thank God for Elton's talent

I couldn't agree more, Elton John is an absolute master in his field. This particular song, although not one of his greatest known hits, it is my favorite. I probably count for half of the total hits on this page. When I listen to it, it builds up such an emotion and breaks down all the barriers holding me back in life. Elton, you make me proud to be British and I hope you come to Sydney shortly as I will be on the front row singing along. You absolute legend.
