This looks so real in terms of its apparent speed and flight pattern. What are the wings and tail made of and where might I find this material? I am in the process of building my own. Super cool. watch out pigeons LOL.
Avisfactius knows all about Rc equipment. He is Very thorough when it comes to all of his birds. Check the Rc Groups on line; he is "bluefalcon". I'm one of his biggest fans.
Do you use gyros and or accelerometers? If not, you might be able to stablilze it in level flight or return it into level flight after a ff dive - allowing an onboard computer to do the compensating for you.
Is that a prototype or is it commercially available? I've seen a couple videos of orinthopters, none quite as realistic as this one. That thing might put a lot of falconers out of airports.
