Please.. i am so stuck with life.. and if you are to then that mean we are one because that is what its mean to be stuck.. so let us do this together.. let not look for acceptance but accept people for who they are.. try not to judge.. then just like that you are accepted without trying.. and if you like this thumbs up for others to see.. and i don't want you to subscribe but if you just have a look at my others videos i have stumble across like this one + my music section worth a look too =)
I like the atmospheric and dark sounds of this song. Can someone give me some recommendations for music like this specific song? What genre would this song be catagorized, ambient?
ayahuasca's cool but too freaky and hard to make- i'd just reccomend trippin on morning glory seeds, you can find them on eBay for only like $5 an ounce, theyre like LSD but more mellow and much less prone to causing bad trips
This is a very well constructed muuvid. To date, one of the best music videos of all time. This vid is necessary for my soul's nutrition. No less than once a month.
Want to do a film night of these kind of cult movies like Enter the Void and Altered States at the Villain Bar in Shoreditch, London if anyone interested in contributing
This is the closest thing to looking through the eyes of trip I have ever seen on a screen...Brilliant...and the perfect song for it...Phutureprimitive!!
It is about demonic activities, demons possessing a human soul. The human soul becomes paralized by the demons and surrenders to the demons. The soul looses its human status and becomes one of them. That is the activities of the demons.
the imagery and the visuals are more reminiscent of ayahuasca than peyote. Aya is a jungle medicine, peyote is a desert medicine. And that shaman is not a Plains or Southwest Native American, the groups who've traditionally engaged in cactus use.

Amazing vid!!! The effects are absolutely fabulous, this is a very well-done, well-edited piece of work, I'm impressed!!! I felt like I was totally trippin with them, so you know right there the director and post-prod crew did their job, cuz I'm feeling it! Great song too! Luv the heavy bass and the keyboard tracks to add more effect and dimension, Love it!!
This video is trippy as shit and freakin awsome! When you are on a ayahuasca trip and you watch this video, ordinary creatures that would normally invoke fear like creepy crawlies or snakes no longer appear threatening. This vid is amazingly complex and a work of art, but I do wish they showed a few more color schemes to brighten it up abit.
I think is important to clarify this to avoid misinformation: The drink they are ingesting is made from Peyote cactus (mescaline), NOT Ayahusca, the north american indians did not know this plant since it is original from the Amazonas.
@Emptynaut Nope, although the north american indians might not have known ayahuasca the visuals are based on ayahuasca trips, the drink in the film might be a mixture of ayahuasca and mescaline, wich makes it a small error in the film, the indian guy is a peruvian shaman, makes no sense, but it's true, check the world wide web and comments from Kounen himself.
@Emptynaut I'm sure they had knowledge of it or at least heard stories, but just didn't have access to it, but the same style understanding of mother natures ecosystem leads to discovering psychedelic plants. The Shamans in the south know of the cactus in the high mountains and the ayhausca below in the jungle.. maybe some of these people migrated north expanding the mescaline tradition, could be possible.
@Emptynaut no the icaros he sings to him to rebild and heal mike in the movie is in fact a song soung by the Shipiboits tribe in the upper amazon. Icaros call on the spirits of ayahuasca. what they are taking is ayahuasca. the north american indians at that time only ingested peyote buy eating the buttons not extracting it in a tea. Very perfect sync to the visual
How can ya watch anything while on salvia??? You must not be smoking enough. I lose myself in another dimension, i dont even see my surroundings. In fact i get so lost that i forget how to swallow, so in a while my mouth get full of saliva, i feel the discomfort of it, and dont know what to do to fix it. Basic fucking reflex, even that gets lost...rough. But i was just thinking, it looks a lot like a salvia trip, apart from the god figures. Never tried DMT, cant find it anywhere.
DMT is the strongest hallucinogen known to man. A natural neurotransmitter produced inside all mammals, and a large percentage of plant life; it is regulated in the human brain by the pineal gland, and is excreted during Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep; Without REM sleep, your brain function will deteriorate and you will die. The producer of this movie used Ayahuasca - a drink consisting of N,N-DMT and MAO-inhibitors; made from amazonian plant life; later adding his experience into the film.
So you don't sleep since DMT is naturally produced by your brain whenever you dream and is a key ingredient in the stuff that man drank... You also must've consumed Marijuana since it's not as bad as alcohol in terms of negative physical effects.

The real life inspiration for this scene came from the directors own personal experiences drinking ayahuasca in Peru.

What is it with drug trips and giant centipedes?
I have seen naked lunch and that also dealt with things like that, it makes no sense to me.
Then again, I have never done anything worse than taking an aspirin!
LOL!
Cool video though.

I know how the drugs work, its just that I see a pattern of imagery.
It seems like people see the same things when they do drugs.
Also, why did I get a thumbs down for my previous comment?

Anyways, thanks for the info.
