I remember back before we went Green! We saved milk & soda bottles, aluminum cans & tv dinner trays and sold them so we could have money to go to movie theater matinee. We got water out of fountains FOR FREE. We walked down to the store instead of driving. We made our own soda called Kool-aid or Ice tea. We walked to school with our friends & liked it. Replace Obama!
I have been radically changing my diet and carbon footprint this year, everybody. No it ain't easy, but it's not that hard either!!! Life gets simpler, healthier, lighter, easier. Keep making those baby steps to be a more conscious human!! We are all in this together. Every little thing matters.

Whether or not global warming actually IS an issue or just a way to make profits for some interest group, how is making some effort to take care of the planet a stupid or even liberal thing to do? If anything, that's conservative.

It stems from the fact that many conservatives are really similar to children. They can't stand the idea of agreeing with a liberal about anything, so they go as far to the opposite extreme as they can. A friend's conservative mother spent Earth Day with as many appliances as possible turned on. Just to spite liberals.
It's really amazing to me to see adults behave like this. But apparently it's common amongst conservatives, since I know that Limbaugh and Beck have also talked about doing this.

Every liberal I know gets his/her news primarily from online news sites like the BBC or listens to NPR (their coverage of non-political things is really good, kinda so-so with politics though). The vast majority of conservatives do watch Fox News, however (this is why Fox News is by far the most watched 24-hour news channel).

I'm in favour of the earth. That's why I heat with wood. Wood is good. Cut down them trees before they rot or nature does its thing and burns them.
I have a green SUV and a very green old pickup truck.
The exhausts produce life giving CO2, presently in a deficit state.
Hopefully we can get CO2 up to 2200 ppm, still a puny one fifth of one percent of the atmosphere.

It might sound "disgusting" to many people but eating your own feces is a very good way to go green. Feces is 97% nutrients leaving your body so it is technically healthier then most foods you eat. Wrap it up in a tortilla and chow down and the brown!

This is terrible advice. Recycling? Recycling is horrible for the environment, it wastes energy.
If you want to behave in an environmentally progressive way, check out the "Cradle to cradle" theory.
Nature does not reduce, nature produces tons of waste. Waste that is food for the eco-system.
In truth we want more waste, we want to produce more garbage, we want to litter in the streets.
We just want more waste, waste that is designed to be food.

It stems from the fact that many conservatives are really similar to children. They can't stand the idea of agreeing with a liberal about anything, so they go as far to the opposite extreme as they can. A friend's conservative mother spent Earth Day with as many appliances as possible turned on. Just to spite liberals.
It's really amazing to me to see adults behave like this. But apparently it's common amongst conservatives, since I know that Limbaugh and Beck have also talked about doing this.

I don't know a single liberal who watches MSNBC or thinks Obama is a "messiah." The health care reform bill was nothing but a hand-out to the insurance companies (thus their stock prices rising after it was passed, unless you think the entire market is wrong somehow). Every liberal I know gets his/her news primarily from online news sites like the BBC or listens to NPR (their coverage of non-political things is really good, kinda so-so with politics though). The vast majority of conservatives do watch Fox News, however (this is why Fox News is by far the most watched 24-hour news channel).
