  • mamma di cris . lo adoroooooo!

  • This man is everything.....the voice, the look, the hair, the English wit, there will never be anyone even in the ballpark near his talent....AND one of the only singers to make it as a solo act, few have managed to do so.....

  • He's in leather pants, the first thing that came to my mind was, "Oh god, please don't stand up." I'd die. ugh, Zeppelin <3

  • There will never be another Robert. So naturally cool, not trying to be anyone other than himself. I adore this man so much, though it's not an 'attraction' as such, I just truly admire him and his talent. I just wish I could've been alive to witness him at the beginning...I hope I get to see him perform one day!

  • For a second I thought that the moderator is wearing tunnels on her ears...

  • God, he's so effortlessly cool and articulate. He gives a brilliant answer why he doesnt like to talk about Led Zeppelin.

  • Plant, Rodges and Daltrey are simply the biggest

  • The lighting, the make-up, the no drugs in his system would make Chuckie look good. He needs to come off his high horse and give Jimmy Page his props. Robert would be homeless or still struggling with his " Band of Joy " if he had never met Jimmy " the master " Page.!!!!rest my CASE!!!!!!!!!

  • @hanklove4ever I disagree.. Robert seems to have done well for himself in his solo career. Each member created the success of Led Zeppelin. The four members came together and it just would not have been the same if it had been any others then these 4. Can you imagine Mick Jagger as the singer? Would not have been the same. It was magic they created together. By the way Robert saluted Jimmy in an amazing speech; guess you missed that..hence your remark. It was amazing!

  • @hanklove4ever You're crazy, Jimmy Page was starting a band and saw Robert Plant singing in a club and was so blown away that he had to have him in this band, which became the greatest band of all time, and it's this man who not only belted out the songs bigger and better than anyone at the time could have, but he wrote some of the greatest lyrics of all time. Jimmy the master for sure, but Plant is the voice of Led Zeppelin

  • She wanted to jump his bones!

  • I loooove him

  • He is a beautiful man, who possesees a pure animal magnetism. He's confident without a hint of arrogance, which is a very sexy trait in of itself. Add to that charm and intelligence, not to mention talent. Even that old battleax, Sue Simmons, melted in his presence. Sigh...

  • I'm going to tell you all something and be completely honest.

Nobody else could have ever replaced Robert Plant in the Led Zeppelin band.

But, then again, the exact same stand for Page, Jones, and Bonham.

You know, it's sad but true. I remember when Led Zeppelin broke up the band because Bonham's very unfortunate accident! They were the best rock band in history and it took all four of them to be complete. GOD BLESS 'EM

  • @guitarttimman STFU, we don't care what you think.

  • @MyAccount4TrollingU

Maybe you don't, but I'm sure other people do bologna head! LOL

  • He is the ultimate live performer. His early live performances are breathtaking!

  • @melissaxoxo78 TOtally agree! Have you seen Led Zeppelin Danish TV 1969? It's beyond amazing

  • @metallicka007 those are absolutely mystifying

  • he brings out my inner fangirl

  • To die for.....I love him....he has the most fascinating smile of the world....

  • i find him fascinating

  • @90carlw This is a dude who probably did enough partying during the 60's, '70s and '80's to kill 10 men. He's not a liar and hes not stupid so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he simply got the year mixed up. Led Zeppelin "I" came out in '69 so he probably met up with JJ between'67-'70. Something to research I would say. Wouldn't it be the shit if it really had been '73?? MAJOR ACID TRIP or was Zep channeling?? hahaha

  • Aww that was sweet what he said about his son-in-law and his daughter. Robert has always seemed just so real and just like an awesome guy.

  • what year was this

  • @Luukeeeehh This was most surely 1993, the year Fate Of Nations was released. He is doing the talk show circuit promoting the album. There is a youtube video of Robert performing 29 palms on Letterman promoting this album.

  • OMG he is beyond hotttttt!!!!

  • YES! so glad him and Joplin met! X) was just wandering that a couple days ago

  • ''No no, I can't read..''

  • Isn't she the one who said THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING ?

  • @sturmraist50 i think it is her.

  • She had no clue .............

  • Comment removed

  • is it just me or are his eyes brown here?

  • I wish more guys would wear their hair like that! I love robert

  • @Kdubb151 i would if i could... its so beautiful *tears up*

  • search

Jake Holmes - Dazed and Confused

  • If I was gay... I'd go for Robert

  • he so cool...........

    she so uncool........

  • @whatchukno100 yeah baby yeahhh

  • @whatchukno100 I can say the same and I am 16 haha

  • r the uncool allowed to interview the inherently cool ???

  • "Led Zeppelin was a very sensitive and beautiful animal-beast"

I think tis says it all! Zepp "the beasts" 4 ever!

  • robert prolly did her after this

  • What year was this?

  • Whoops Robert...Janis was dead In 1970, I hope you didn't see her in '73. :)

  • she's clearly a fan and loves his music

  • @whatchukno100

    he was

  • Robert came here to be the most beautiful male on the planet - apart from the most amazing voice - he has the "look" to die for!

  • @90carlw

    1973 in heroine years... Haha

  • @NirvanaRocks93

"Robert makes me wet"... Straight to the point. Haha admirable.

  • Well, shave him and give him a receeding hairline, and you'd likely chyange your opinion. lol

  • Robert plant is the BEST SINGER Ever!!!!!!! And thy is the Truth!!!!!!!!'

  • @whatchukno100

You know? I am there with you! He's adorable!!!

  • He mentioned playing a gig where Janis Joplin was in about '73 which is spooky as she was dead and cremated for three years.

  • @ZildjianL4D2 Isn't that the truth? I have to ask people what the second-greatest rock act is of all-time (as Zeppelin is my automatic #1).

  • after the London gig they were offered at lot of $,however Plant said the didnt want tour, as he didnt want to dissapoint the fans, how could that possiby happen ,Mr Plant??

  • Actually he and Janis Joplin were practically musical twins - they could have done each other's songs, they sounded similar.

  • @GILLYRUTH exaclty and if hes a fricken god he can talk to people even if theyre dead

  • Freddie Mercury was better

  • @tdevil101 subjective. Don't agree, but both are awesome. Lets see, who was Freddies favorite singer??? Oh yea, Robert Plant :)

  • can u imagine what it would be like if this had afull blown comeback........it boggles the mind.

  • Oh God; "fate of nations"

He should have stuck to being a hedonistic rock star with a cucumber down his pants.

  • @90carlw You're right. Maybe Robert was confused by the year.

  • he makes me wet

    i love robert plant

  • he is moving his hands just like on stage :-)

  • I've got the feeling there may have been some pushing and goading after this interview.

  • @90carlw Your right of course,,,but Roberts a golden god,not a biographer or court stenographer?

  • That would have been the Shaefer beer festival in Central park July 21 1969 that he is talking about.

  • when was this ?

  • @MilkyLicker3587 Lol everyone hates you. You suck

  • If you just listen to his voice, its hard not to think about his dialogues in 1975.

  • what a cool guy plant is

  • did robert copy janis joplin or was it the other way around?

  • I think in many ways he kind of tries to not draw attention to his high voice... I don't see why, he had the most incredible scream and yet he doesn't seem to think much of it...

  • I'd lick him clean!

  • @whatchukno100 Oh my god I think so too! I love him so much! I had sex with him in a dream once!

  • @Bunzypoo hey, that's cool, but there could be children here, just saying.

  • @fiomily225 Too bad. Children should be doing homework and playing outside.

  • led zeppelin is a beast

  • he did say 1973 but...thats 37 years ago the story is obviously true but you have to forgive him for getting the year wrong lol ...( i dont know when this was recorded)

  • @whatchukno100 I agree. He's extremely attractive!

  • Did he say the incident with joplin accured in 73? joplin died in 70...

  • seems like a really well adjusted chap.

  • @whatchukno100 You're right!! He's so hottt

  • I love robert. He's a truly witty guy- "I cary a spade around to dig myself a huge hole."

  • From 3:45 to the end. Completely agree with him! Led Zeppelin shold not be reborn or remade. It should remain where it is as solid gold. Sure they can make a nostalgia show every now and then but let it rest. Id rather have fond and beatifull memories of Led Zeppelin as now than remembering it has something that was good...

  • This really could have been a great interview. Seemed to be cust short to got to a commercial. Ole Rob was ststing to get into the chat.

  • When was this?

  • By the ways the subtitles say "Fate of Nations", 1993 was the year.

  • @whatchukno100 is the hottest!

  • I definitely agree!!!

  • Boy she's fallin out of her chair- must have been a big fan.

  • he fucked janice!

  • Robert should never had the throat polyps cut off ,it destroyed his range

  • This guy has always been so cool. By far, the best lyrics in music. Great guy.

  • @AwesomeBeatles

Ooh, some of the best lyrics in music.. I will say, the best vocalist in the entire world, though, at his prime.

  • @AwesomeBeatles did write his lyrics he ripped of soo amny artists black

  • ooohya,.....ooohya..!!!

  • ♠♠♠FUCKING AWESOME BAND♠♠♠

    ♠♠♠FUCKING AWESOME SONG♠♠♠

    ♠♠♠FUCKING AWESOME HAIR♠♠♠

    Robert > quens kings presidents

  • I'm trying to master his lopsided smile

  • his hair ^^

  • he looks good at tht age haha

  • What year/place is this from??

  • LMAO, she's the same anchor woman on Fail Blog...

  • jim morrison

  • oh wow nvm thats a pretty blind reply, as soon as i was done typing it channel 4 flashed on haha

  • i think its channel 7, thats one of the anchors

  • his voice never changes which is the best part

  • no no i cant read lmao

  • Thanks!

  • What year is this?

  • When he said " no , no I cant read .... especially those papers " he meant he doesnt care whats written about him for the most part he ignores it and does his own thing . Saying Robert Plant cant read is .............. rediculous ? Of course the bloody guy can read are you mental ?

  • exactly.

Plant is probably one of the most well read people

in rock history, if not the most well read

  • Yeah, his response was typical English tongue-in-cheek. Frank Zappa was one helluva smart individual and well-read, too. Mick Jagger is also sharp as hell.

  • its surprising that Jagger is

  • yes plant and david covardale are the most articulate rock stars of all times!!!

  • of course he could read, you jerks...how else he could write all those beautiful songs

  • No Quarta

  • Plant came from a well off family and went to a top prep school....left home at 16 because his parents didn't aprove of his lifestyle choices, bummed around for a bit and then lived with his future wifes family. John Bonham lived with his wife and son when he joined Zep. Robert is a very, very well read gentelman.....no question. He was just being silly

  • hahahahahhaa!!were where you with them?

  • haha well this guys right for the most part about page butttttt bonzo wasn't married or a father at that time as far as i've read.

  • Jason Bonham was born in 1966 and Bonzo joined LZ in 1968.

  • "no,no,i can't read"

  • i think he may have got his years mixed up. he couldnt have done a festival with Janis Joplin in centeral park in 73, since she OD'd in 70.

  • "i can't read" lol

  • "He's everything that I wish I could be myself." It's so interesting to hear Percy say this about another human being (his son-in-law), when so many thousands of young men have said the same thing about him!!!

  • i was just about to say that! :))

  • How cool would that be to have Robert Plant as your father in law?

  • LoL...

  • What year is this interview from???

  • 1993, the year fate of nations was released

  • Robert's my cousin..Robert is a family name..we have like 15 Robert Plants..lol

  • It is sometimes hard to distinguish context of posts, so I must ask if you seriously believe Robert can't read just because he said, "No, no, I can't read ... especially THOSE papers." This is the same man who spontaneously wrote Led Zeppelin's epic song Stairway to Heaven in about an hour. If he could not read, then he could not write, and he IS a songwriter. Many Led Zep songs written by Robert are based on The Lord of the Rings books, so I think it is safe to assume that Robert can read.

  • well i never thought of it that way

  • algitrath:

Oh, good ... you scared me for a minute, there!

    ;O)

  • lol i scared my self to lol jk

  • lol...I even caught the sarcasm! He made a little comical geuster to the lady interviewing him and he said, "especially those ones" Your right too that if he can write songs then he can read because its just not possible!

  • Loving the hair <3

  • dude he cant count his wifes he a chick magnet

  • Haha it's true. Vocalists are never taken as seriously as instrumentalists. ESPECIALLY in jazz. Unless you're and instrumentalist AND a vocalist like Plant.. then my hat is off.

  • Dave Lee Roth's father!

  • Robert Plant....living legend.

  • why does Percy always put his head on his hand when speaking in interviews? anyways, you gotta love him.. he's so charming.

  • Robert Plant completely jacked this story from Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad! This is what happened to Mark and Mark Farner is an honest guy.

  • Dude, during my entire life I though he was dead and I love Led Zeppelin, DAMMIT!

  • nice lol

  • When was this?

  • Texas Pop Festival was in 69' btw.

  • Plant was notorious for getting dates mixed up. I wouldn't doubt that Joplin gave him some spiked OJ in the 69' or 70' though.

  • 99% of interviewers even don't know what hard rock is about.

  • she tries to get cute with him and he shoots her down big time. what a amazing spirit

  • it was seen much earlier

  • He must be seriously affected by substances he never met Joplin in 73 coz she had been dead since Oct 70 and its doubtful whether Sinatra was ever going to sing Stairway. Yet in modern interviews he comes across as being very sincere. Maybe he thought he would embelish a little for his new venture after Zeppelin broke up

  • p.s. zep is god

  • 1:06 check out his pupils

  • wow! nice hair as ever; I'm envious of you hair

  • he still has the coolest and greatest voice in rock and always will

  • when did this interview happen???

  • in those clothes, he frickin looks like kurt cobain kinda

  • holy crap.. he does O_O

  • lol how the hell does he look like cobain

  • Robert can read. He was a huge fan of the Lord of the rings stuff, in fact those books helped spark the creativity in him to write the lyrics to stairway to heaven.

  • As well as about half the other Led Zep tunes haha.. Ramble On I believe actually mentioned Gollum by name.
