I still don't get the purpose of the neutral plates. People say they increase efficiency? But how, to pull the molecules apart you require energy. That is a set amount per water molecule is it not? How do you somehow change this with neutral plates? The one I built seems to do the same whether it has neutrals or not.
I dont know what kind of car this is on but w/out an o2 correction you will probably keep the same mpg, but get better torque. You need an EFIE or COSM unit to adjust the o2 voltage. Or try wrapping the o2's with tin foil.
Yes I am in KY. This video is old and I have come a long way since. Check out the new videos. I've got about 250 - 316L plates currently and have to order more. If anyone needs any let me know.
nice container! i think i've seen those made with plastic, i'll have to check out the kitchen store at the mall (great, now i have to go to the mall.(
by the way, the best way to end the war in iraq, dissable terrorists, bring stability and peace to the middle east is to build a hydrogen fuel cell. i commend everyones efforts, the best thing is to freely share your knowledge so that any discoverys do not end up on some shelf locked away in a saudi vault.
I got 316 grade stainless steel from a sheet metal shop. They will cut it for you also. I got a 12" X 12" piece for 50 bucks. It's not cheap but it's more corrosion resistant.
Not sure if its happened to you yet, but that canister will shatter or crack after a bit. Friend of mine broke one, and mine broke as well. I'm building a steel box and coating it with duplicolor bed liner. Will have a vid very soon. Best of luck!
A friend that owns a machine shop gave it to me. And it is 304. Makes the water really dirty, try to find some 316L. Contact some local shops that deal with metals. If not search the net. I can get a 4x8 sheet with the sheet cut and holes punched for $1500. It will make 21 cells just like mine. I can't afford it right now or I would offer you some.
Should also mention that any exposed edges on a series type cell will contribute to current leakage. Obviously the soup has to get to the plates somehow so some current leakage is pretty much unavoidable. But the more edge surface area you can enclose without restricting circulation of e-lyte, the more efficient your cell will be (ie: more gas out for less watts in)
just for giggles, for 12v system try -/4*Neu/+/4*Neu/- ; keep your volts in the 12-14 range and production should be pretty decent at 10a controlled by e-lyte concentration with very little heat. You want to shoot for about 2.2v-2.8v per plate gap or there abouts to get compromise between productivity and heat buildup. If its getting hot, you are using too many volts.
you may need to trick O2 sensor in car to mileage improvment. There are related how-to videos here.

Thanks!
I've heard a few bad things about some of these people.
My new setup will be better. Actually going to sell these to people locally.
Hope you get your money back.

304 has no molybdenum in it. That is why you need 304L or 316L to get rid of rust colored goo.
