We can combine this two versions. I mean, u can use "simplyfied" when it comes down to most diffucult pt of the song, for example in this tutorial it will be the third part, cuz right here we have left hand that play really "background" and right hand is MAIN and "dominating", like author said, so it'll be easier. And we can use "original right hand ver" when it sounds more "in front", example in pt. 1-2, cuz it'll be more vivid and bright I think. Thank you CJ!This one helps me a lot.Peace)
