Thank you for remembering Rob Gauntlett. The youngest Brit to climb Everest and Pole to Pole trekker using natural power. So brave , such an inspiration and too young to die. God Bless.
This is such a well done and touching video. It reminds me that we have our life - once young and contributing, but soon to be older and to have lived it. I enjoyed your one piccture of Cheryl Holdridge with Rick Nelson -- I had had a 'thing' for her since she was on the Mickey Mouse Club!! And, your choice of music is outstanding. Stars and stars ....
All these famous stars are gone - but the memory will stay forever - great song - very heartbreaking and fit`s perfectly to this brillant work. Five for your work
The excellence just keeps on coming! Thanks so much! I look forward to seeing more of these types of videos from you. Suggestions: Brian Keith, Ken Curtis, Amanda Blake, Freddie Prinze, JFK, Jr., Rudolph Valentino, Rock Hudson, Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Crawford, Tallulah Bankhead, Lucille Ball, Dezi Arnaz, Mike Todd, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Roy Orbison, Billy Walker, Conway Twitty, Dan Rowan, Dick Martin........more to come!! LOL
Cheryl's passing at the young age of 64 breaks my heart. She was an angelically beautiful teenage girl when I was a lad. She was blessed with beauty and radiance, and it seems from all accounts that she had a happy life. Sad we must bid you farewell Cheryl.
Wonderful tributes. I'll always remember Pat Hingle's performance as Warren Beatty's father in "Splendor In The Grass" and Cheryl Holdridge for a brilliant comedic turn on The Dick Van Dyke Show, playing a young starlet infatuated with the happily married Rob Petrie. One of the best episodes in the series.
Patrick McGoohan, saw him in a 1961 movie by Disney, The 3 Lives of Thomasina, then had a tv series, Secret Agent Man. I believe his last role was as Longshanks in Braveheart. He had a long illustrious career, very underrated.
