Its amazing slash is a true artist ...this interview just shows how slash hes got the hunger and the drive he loves the long hard climb to the top as to most artists just want to get rich and get to that point and let their egos take over yes axl im talking about you...Slash just loves playing in small nightclubs sending people home happy, axl wanted to get rich and make his ego larger then it already was...thats where im sure their problems stemed from slash wanted to keep it simple n have fun

Well Axl doesn't really seam like someone who just wants to get rich. His record company hates him for doing absolutly zero promo for Chinese Democracy. He's got an ego-problem though but he probably always had one. At least Slash kind of writes that in his bio.

@brandocommando33 It was more Axl started changing the sound of GNR. I mean listen to Paradise City, Rocket Queen, and Welcome to the Jungle, then listen to Don't Cry, Estranged, and November Rain. So different they went from that hard, in your face rock n roll to doing ballads and shit. Slash Wanted to stay with that hard in your face stuff and during the recording for Use your illusion I and II Slash actually wrote a bunch of material but Axl turned it all down. That's when he started Snakepit
