@keviekev95 I wish most pop singers would focus more on the appogio and challenging their range instead of belting, because it could damage their cords in the case of vocal nodules. That's why I was saying these warm-ups were poor because her instructor is encouraging her to "push"(or belt) the sound rather than open her mouth(open resonance) and let the sound flow out.

@lexiela10 She probably feels the same way too while she does the warm ups, but without them she wouldn't have such an amazing voice. If she didn't do these exercises daily she'd loose half an octave of her range pretty quickly. Try the vocal exercises, they might sound stupid, but they really work :)

@MissKolacz OK, maybe I wasn't clear. I've taught voice and was a student for many years. Her transition is completely wrong. She must bring her sound further up the roof of her mouth as she moves up the scale. She's bringing her sound completely through her throat. Over time, she'll sound scratchy. Warm-ups are the most effective way to keep your voice, especially in women. She's warming up in a way that will cause her to lose her voice sooner than later.
