This promo was pretty revealing (Boomer hitting Athena in the face, etc). I'm thinking your supposed to think Boomers good now and then she's going to pull a 180.

Umm, maybe because it wasn't her fault. She had been programmed to do that without her knowledge. She even tried to kill herself before that as she felt like she was going to do something bad, but her hidden protocols kept from succeeding. Boomer is more innocent than any other Cylon for atrocities against humans, but always gets the shaft.

Well yes, but I always thought that making Boomer a villian for no reason was stupid. Gaeta at least had the tiniest bit of reason - Boomer was just made evil because the plot needed her to be.

Although they are played by the same actress, I like Boomer way more than Athena - in fact, I don't have problems with Athena getting killed. Just redeem Boomer !

I like Boomer more than Athena because she's a more interesting character- but I disagree that she's been evil for no reason. She's angry that her body did things she didn't want it to, and while she was a safe captive and trying to help, she was murdered. And then she was embraced by the most bitter of the cylons, who helped her. She chose Cavil's side because he made sense to her, more than the other 8s.

I'd like to see her make peace with the humans again, though. Especially with Tyrol.
