you are my idol. im trying to beat this game for the first time. im 13 and have been playing since i could hold a controller. ive used whistles to make it to world 8 before because i found a couple on my own, but ive never even beaten the first level of it. now i have beaten all worlds 1-7 and am on level 2 of world 8 (legit level 2, like 8-2, already through submarine and all the rest). you seriously rock dude.

Lost? No, not really, because the way it is designed, it's very easy to notice that there are 2 halls, so, we go, study a lil, and it's piece of cake! ;)

It is true play. Yes, it was done on emulator, but you're talking about a true player here. Each of the 26 parts was done separately, so I could practice them. If I was a bot, believe me, my play would have been perfect, and my run is not perfect at all. Any good player will agree. ;)

When I was a kid a used a Game Genie to make Mario always have a frogsuit, and I was peeved as hell when I found out the frog suit can't fit under the row of spikes and the conveyor belt.

The only part of the game I thought was a flaw was the castle challenger. They used the same alligator turtle guy who does the MC Hammer dance for all 8 worlds, you'd think there'd be no more of those guys left. And it'd always be so simple to beat him. Jump on head, jump on head, jump on head.

World 8-2 is, in my opinion, the hardest level in the game. I'm pretty good at Mario 3, and I've still never been able to beat this without cheating and using the "P" wing!
