Ure mistaken. Music is about skill. PLaying with computer is not skill-related. If you can play same tune with keyboard, guitar and other music instrument thats skill.

Many people can make music with different instruments. if you can only mix loosped tracks together, thats no skill at all. Try to play with consert with looped sounds and you will find yourself fast on the sale

But all that aside thats not what music is about. You don't make music to show your audience how skilled you are. And you don't listen to music because the artist is skilled...

So it doesn't matter how skilled you are, if you make a good track.

well basically you are showing your talent. In concert. Player must be good to perform there, you cant enter the band if you can only make music with MIDi and sample-loops. Concert is about skill and talent. Both give pleasure to the audience. And yet unsophisticated minds continue to pursue loop-based music, so sad. Many artists play they song written in MIDI by real instruments. I like to hear player who has ability to play most instruments by himself. Thats skill..

@AmiApache You still don't get it? First of all Concerts and bands are not required at all for good music. And yes it takes skill to make good music, and thats true for any artist (even electronic artists).

Now about the "loop-based" music. You know it's called dance music for a reason. It's easier to dance to loop-based music because you only need to hear the loop for a short while before you get a pretty good picture of how the track will continue.

If you can only listen to it and tell whats good whats not. Then were not on the same page. My music requiments are far beyond computer-based music. Altough i love it anyway. The idea is to make music out of any instrument. Not just one or two..
