@lawrenny well, i cannot agree with you about stalin. older people may like him (for example, my grandma, who thinks he's a hero), but my mother and russian teacher (both russian) think that he was a murderer, so you cant say that everyone adore him)

@lawrenny dont know about Poland really, I was raised as a Russian in Russian family... the only thing that comes to mind is the fact that Poland in 1920 took Vilnius (capital) from Lithuania without Lithuania's permission and Lithuania was without capital till 1939 when USSR took it from Poland and returned it to Lithuania.

@succubusmistress i don't know if i got you right (my russian isn't that good :D) but if i did: i think your right. there is no reasom why the population of an country should hate the people of another, only because they hated each other in the past (officially). and that because of reasons, that were not the fault of the people living in that country (only that with control) .
