  • mmmm

  • You're such an awesome girl. I like how you presented this recipe and the procedures when making the dish with the very clear steps. I enjoyed this video and I'm sure the others would be just as well made by you. You were very informative and flawless in the making, you probably should have a cooking programme of yourself on television because you have really high standard at preparing food infront of the viewers. Good job!

  • I recent;y went to restaurant their linguini n clams had red peppers, purple onions and sliced mushrooms thrown in. They offered marinara on the side, I opted out. IT was so GOOD! Im sure this would taste good with theses additions.

  • Laura ur gorgeous

  • so hot...

  • even better when u get the clams by clamming them urself.

  • i dont know if the talking distract you from chopping the herb. please remember to never chop the herb twitce or more.

  • Giuro che quando andrò negli U.s.a. non mangerò mai un piatto di pasta nemmeno se non mi fanno pagare!!

  • The recipe is pretty accurate. One thing though. There is no need to boil the clams to get rid of the sand. I am Italian and I have never seen or heard of anybody boiling the clams first. Soak the clams in cold salty water for an hour or two. Then cook raw clams in the sauce, covering pot, and the clams will open when ready leaving all their juices in sauce. Discard any clams that do not open. If they remain closed there is a good chance they were dead and therefore not good to eat.

  • @65buster1

BTW - no butter either. Traditionally in Naples the don't use butter. only olive oil. some people also put some cherry tomatoes in it. both are right. two differnt schools.

  • @65buster1 everybody has their own way of cooking and making certain recipes. I do it this way but you can do it however you like. I add a tiny bit of butter at the end to make the sauce a little thicker but that's optional.

  • @LauraVitalesKitchen

    fair enough! take care. B

  • @65buster1 LOL Non avevo visto il tuo commento e ho scritto praticamente la stessa cosa XD

  • Hi Laura,

Nice video and great simple recipe. I also love to cook and look forward to seeing more of your videos!

    Bon appetit from Canada.

  • I love this recipe, it's so simple yet tasty! I have made it twice already, and it tastes better than the one I had in a good Italian restaurant, I am so proud of myself... :)

  • Nice Vid but all of that water that you boil in will reduce the flavours. You can do the same thing very little water, the clams give off water of their own, and you can strain it just as easily.

  • I am going to try that tomorrow.

  • dude fuck the meal i want to eat her.

  • @amelbo, I'd like to hear you say that in front of her husband :).

  • @b1rdkeeper what husband?

  • @amelbo....yea man...nothing like a good pussy dish

  • Hi Laura! What can I substitute for the white wine? :) Thanks. Love all your vidsss.

  • i enjoy ur cooking and ur pretty too such a good cooker too!

  • the one recording the video must get very jealous when you start eating :P I really enjoy your videos .. they all look soo delicious by easy to do at the same time :)

  • won't the clams be a bit over cooked? coz you boiled them and cook them with the sauce as well.. just wondering

  • @WinterPassedBy technically the clams should be done cooking when they are opened (so after she got done boiling them they would have been cooked)..however, since she took them out of the pot immediately after they opened and let them cool somewhat before putting them in the sauce, and only had them in the sauce for 1 min, they prolly only got rewarmed and were not super overcooked. I think for most shellfish this is a common method so that the sand doesnt get in the foods :)

  • @afteil agreed!
