Look, I applaud everyone for donating and you can't really complain about amounts and stuff. But, I do find it odd that G was worth 300 million and gave away 90 grand while this couple were worth less than 100 million and gave away 300 grand.
Wow,This was one of the better shows on TV, I did a lot of crying when ever this was shown. I come back when ever I'm so sick of this world and it's EVIL,just to know there are still some good ppl. like myself around. FYI,maybe we are not all Millionaires,however we can still ALL make a difference no mater how big or small.
This actually made me cry and I have to ask, why don't more people who have so much give back? The world would be such a different place if everyone gave back, people need to love and take care of one another. It's good to know good people do exist and do the right thing.
Millionaires and Billionaires suck the life from their Communities. Of course they should give back...they should never have taken so much to begin with.
I can't help but think that they got their millions on the backs of the very people they are now helping. What about the wage slaves in their restaurants or the "food" they serve that is literally killing their customers and putting them into medical debt. Kudos for giving it away and all but ask yourself how did they reap such insane profits to begin with? There is always a cost in Capitalism; to the workers, the animals, and the environment.

These people are incredibly generous. They may have complained more than others I've seen, but they cared genuinely and gave three times the amount they technically had to give. Even without personally connecting with any of the charities, they cared.
Its great to see that there is people in this world that are so generous toward someone else, especially when its to help a community such this. The problem I have with shows like this - is no matter how hard they try to find someone "deserving" of this money - there are always others who deserve it equally or more. I think it serves to make all those other deserving people feel even more slighted by the world. Great concept to put people of Millionaire status to experience a different way of life that they are not accustomed to. A extremely good deed done and very heartfelt. If the show is accurate it could really help many people in devestaing situations. It brings up at great point about the date on the check-can someone explain why it is wrong, because it does really concern me on the validity of the show? First, the amounts only SEEM higher on the US version because they're in dollars instead of pounds. Second, this couple gave substantially more than the average on the US version. Third, the UK version is the original - this is just an imitation of it. Fourth, even if there was more money changing hands on the US version, if that's your reason for liking this version more, then you've completely missed the point of the show. This isn't about numbers on a cheque, it's about human generosity.

I know how to translate pounds into dollars, the average in the US Version is much higher than the British one. So What if the US one is a copy of it? Just because a person is a millionaire or multi-millionaire, it does not mean that they are "liquid". This is why, some people say they are "worth 5 Million" dollars. I had a relative who had her millions tied up in properties, stocks,bonds & mines. And another, who has theirs in a trust. So it isn't always greed. First, the amounts only SEEM higher on the US version because they're in dollars instead of pounds. Second, this couple gave substantially more than the average on the US version. Third, the UK version is the original - this is just an imitation of it. Fourth, even if there was more money changing hands on the US version, if that's your reason for liking this version more, then you've completely missed the point of the show. This isn't about numbers on a cheque, it's about human generosity.

@garethac81 No the amount is higher on the US version. I always watch the UK version because I live in Ireland. I know how to translate pounds into dollars, the average in the US Version is much higher than the British one. So What if the US one is a copy of it? Everybody likes to see a person get a good amount. I mean on the UK version they don't give much because they are making money from doing the show as well.

They are worth 60million, probably the lowest amount I've seen from the millionares on this show so far, but they have given the most money out of all them! What a great couple and a great example they have set for others who are in the same financial position they are in.

Just because a person is a millionaire or multi-millionaire, it does not mean that they are "liquid". This is why, some people say they are "worth 5 Million" dollars. I had a relative who had her millions tied up in properties, stocks,bonds & mines. And another, who has theirs in a trust. So it isn't always greed. And by the way, not all multi-millionaires live so lavishly. I have seen people who are not rich, possess more material belongings than some wealthy folks.
