in my opinion this guy isn't a jack johnson, i still thnk he is very good but its unfair to compair the two are newton is alo more lively with more backing tracks and instruments where as jack johnson is very laid back, chill out music with less backing. Therefore i tihnk its poinltess and unfair to compare the two.

He records his own backing tracks at least. The drums in his music are the percussion being played on his guitar. Look at it live.

I'm a huge fan of both Jack Johnson and Newton Faulkner. but in my opinion Newton's backing tracks and more up beat rhythm is better. Only slightly :P I saw him live at the Enmore Thetre in Australia and was blown away. Can't wait for his new album.
