  • can i order one;i am from greece.thank you

  • So I'm building my own at home. much smaller than yours, but i'm planning on making more observation hives to connect on later. I would like to know what measurements I need for the side of the observation hive. Please help.

  • @01Weirdguy Our observation hives are for Langstroth deep frames. We make a double wide and a single wide. We find that a minimum of 6 frames is as small as a colony of Bees can survive in. Our double wide hives are 3 1/8", inside, glass to glass. Our single wide is 1 3/4" glass to glass.

Good luck Building and thank for advocating for Bees.

We do have ObH "DIY" plans

  • what is an "uninvited dead robber"?

  • @stayseeA

    Sorry so long answering.

An uninvited robber is a forager Bee from another Hive, usually from a stronger hive. If the victim hive is also strong the invader will be killed or driven off.

    Thanks for your question
