  • @taytaysims7 really good to know, I started on Weds so I didn't get a chance to do plyo on Tuesday, but next week I will - the Yoga was ... well let's just say the dog snickered at me. keep me updated on your progress !

  • @kaaren001 I think the dog laughed at me as well lol. I started Monday, let me know how you like plyo. Warning: It's probably the hardest thing you'll do if you. But I will keep you updated and I hope that you will do the same :)

  • Wear a headband.Keep the floor dry.

  • leather weightlifting/training gloves are good for sweaty palms if you dont mind the discomfort, trust me hahaha, if you buy good ones they breathe rather nice and give you that lil extra hold on the mat with no heat rash.

    Here's the tip my friend. Keep a towel next to your mat. As you begin to sweat and slip, throw the towel down where your hands go and that will prevent slippage.

  • I just use carpet for that move. You definitely have more resistance. The antiperspirant also sounds like a good tip. Glad you are making progress on yoga - I've definitely learned to love it.

  • I've tried the carpet as well and while it's a little improvement, I still find myself slipping.

  • Yeah, I'm going to try that trick and see if it helps. I'm actually using a treadmill mat that I picked up, it's much larger than a standard yoga mat and I use it for all of the programs to protect the carpet. The downside is that it's a little thicker and like you, I have a problem with some of the balance moves. I may try those without the mat next week and see how it goes...
