I find this joke interesting because of the different layers of humor. On the surface was the joke about the UVF claiming responsibility. That was a dumb joke. Underneath that joke was the fact that only the dumb American from Texas laughed at first. The underlying joke was that the guy from Texas laughed at the stupid joke. The underlying joke was on we dumb Americans. Heh, I loved that guy from Texas, he was great!
