At 2:34, it is simply the end of the video. You can't turn an analog signal digital. This was analog all the way through. At 2:34, the video ended and they went to a color bar until the turned the transmitter off. WPSD was already digital on channel 6.1 at the time this happened. This was simply the end of their analog signal.
Wow, almost EXACTLY the way I remember the nightly sign-off every night growing up. Seems like Tom Butler used to do the info before the Star Spangled Banner??
Honestly, I got a bit of a chill when the signal kicked off to static. An end to an era. Amazing. Thank for posting!
That is waaaay better then the way KFVS TV 12 went off. WPSD says "Aim High America". KFVS goes off the air forever with Craig Ferguson saying "And I used to drink alcohol!" click.
Special thanks to cbunga for posting these. I really wanted to see it, but I was in Texas that night.

A town like Monkey's Eyebrow would be just begging for tourist cash from the ne'er-do-well out-of-towners...look at Hell, Michigan!
