Constructive Criticism on heavy vocals: With this style vocals(heavy) varying from bands like Lamb of God to Periphery, the style is different. It's simply "hacking up a loogy" with more air control and pressure from the diaphragm. Yes, you have to kinda scratch up your throat to get the sound, but in time you'll get use to it and with maintenance you should be able to get it on command. Try warming up using the style from your lowest possible note to your highest. Save the black metal for fags.

It's very DM indeed, Angela Gossow style but a little more old school. Can't tell if it's the mic, positioning or the EQ, but your vocals sound a little thin? Is there a particular reason you keep the mic so far away? Mics are designed to be as close to your mouth as possible (other than shotgun / rifle mics etc hahaha), and just adjust the gain to stop it clipping. Other than that, good job.
