  • You are my hero sir.

  • I don't know why people think that feminists hate men. The majority are volunteering in health and wellness geared toward women. Can't even imagine what the threat is to people. Great video. Entirely true.

  • ooh look that this little knight in shining armor, cute.

  • Wow, thank you. I can really appreciate your sincere and well thought out/researched video. It came across much more genuine than the amazing atheists.

  • I'm a masculinist fighting for equality.

  • @dilmo22 How's that working out for you so far?

  • Why do you say that "everything's there and everything has a name, everything's easier if you are a man"? Is it because of biological reasons (you know, women have to go through menstruation periods and all that) or for other reasons? Thank you and please forgive my horrible English.

    - Just a curious whippersnapper.

  • mmm lol!

  • It isn't really "just talk" or "just hate speech" when they successfully have laws passed which restrict women's rights...look up what Dworkin and her camp was able to do with their hate. Now, think about future generations their literature will inevitably influence. Ironic that it's under the umbrella term "feminism" when it's blatant misandry and misogyny. My feminism represents true equality.

And, I find it's easy to be a woman. I don't let other people tell me my gender is a hindrance.

  • It is easy being a man. However, it is also easy being a woman. But whether or not it is easy being a certain gender still does not address important issues, like parental alienation. Is denying a father a chance to see his kids after a divorce a kind of gender payback because it is 'easy being a man'? Who is the twisted and fucked up person now, huh?

  • ... and thank you for posting this video response!

  • Conferencereport, if you have not noticed already, most of the men with these issues, are in America.

  • @ORVX grow up. You're 38? Well act like it. Your opinions would be interesting, although all you're doing is insulting OP. Don't comment on this if you have nothing to write that is worth reading. Also, this guy has grey hair, but why you're calling him an old man when your views are so antiquated is beyond me.

  • If I wanted to debate this video, would you respond here in the comments section?

  • I'd be happy to try. Go for it.

  • It doesn't have a dam think to do with some men getting thier feelings hurt becuase feminist and mangins attack them, it has to do with LAW, Tigle 7, Tile9 VAWA, have you heard of any of these REAL LEGAL issues. do you have any idea, not just the men that face this but to society when we loose prodictivitgy becuase of this bullshit.

  • thta is fucked up john Bobbit is sexually mutlilated and YOU STILL inssist it was his crazy fucking wife that was abuased, do you really think she was a peacfull little wall flower then one night fliped and hacked off the guys cock. WHAT would it take for him to be the victim?

  • their are attackts on men ever fucking day, IT IS THE CASE ASS HOLE!

  • @ORVX

Are you on youtube all the time watching videos? If not how are you constantly rating videos?

  • what's the question?

  • @ORVX

About the videos you watch lol... I probably should of mentioned that it's totally off topic

  • yea ok, but this guy is a mangina, and will die alone. he deserves so. he is an old man and still begging, you would think he would have learned but feminism get's it's power from somwhere and this punk highlights it!

  • Are you really 38?

  • @conferencereport dam straigt, and I figured out what you don't know by age 20. Even if it is subconsious, your noting but a beggar. You old enough to have figured it out, im sorry if you and Joe Bidden have mommy issues but you pathetic and your bullshig, is why baby boys now face a life of discrimination and abuse at the hand of the system. P please seek counseling.

  • Wow. Really, wow.

  • feminsist out thousands of men ever year taking away thier freedom ass hole!

  • Sorry but you ruined that entire speech at the end where you said it was easier to be a man, It wouldn't have even been that bad if you actually provided some empirical evidence as to how it's any easier to be a man than it is a woman.

When women are experiencing violent crimes at the same rate as men and are and are dying in wars at the same rate as men are then they have it as bad us.

The ONLY violent crime out of all of them that women suffer from more then men is rape.

  • In the side bar you said "It's easy being male. Don't let anybody tell you different "

Female privilege - - - Look and you shal find.

  • I'm not saying that women don't face disadvantages specific to their sex I'm just saying that historically they have never had it worse then men disregarding islamic countries. I am talking about the west.

  • I am sorry you have had such a hard life.

  • Comment removed

  • The only word women have to express their equality, and it's been slandered to the point that most people don't know what it means anymore. I find this fact enlightening enough. Great video.

  • I believe that feminists are responsible for this, because of their smoke screening tactics that they use. Because they established so many different kinds of feminism in an effort to shield the radicals and play the blame game with their own group. It's backfired in that no one now knows what feminism is.

It serves them right in my opinion.

Words have power, And when you strip that power down by trivializing it then it is entirely your fault.

  • true dat, true dat1

  • Thank you so much for this video. After seeing the video posted by the "Amazing Atheist" I was without words. I went on to read some of the comments and the majority of them professed an approval for the postulations presented in the video. I was then without words and infuriated! I decided to comment on that video, knowing full well that my words would likely be ignored by most. I'm glad that you're able to offer up an alternative to what is likely one of the most misleading videos posted here

  • You are great.

  • i like your video alot it was very smart and relaxed. i mean its easy to point out the flaws of surtant political veiws and get all worked up. but you realy step back and look at things from an out side view good job very good video.

  • It's just as easy to be a woman.

  • no it isn't. being a women means fighting a constant battle every day just to be taken seriously.

  • I think there are a lot more women, at young age or old, taken care of by men. However, same can't be said to the opposite gender. Aside from some men can abuse their women, the rest of them live pretty peacefully. They have men support them on emotional issues, or money (I'm not getting into anything like " women drains men's money" talk). But for men, a lot of them don't have a women doing this for them, so it's not easy for men. What do you think of this?

  • I don't think this is true. I think more women look after men. In most households it is the women who primarily raise the children, do the shopping, cleaning, cooking, etc. Studies have also shown that divorced women are more capable of keeping their lives in tact than divorced men, as the men aren't used to looking after themselves, which I think is very interesting. I would definitely say that more women take care of men than vice versa.

  • I mean if you look at both genders in the age of 20s. Do you feel that more girls are coupled than guys? Or other way around? Also you mentioned that women are more capable of taking care of themselves after a divorce. Wouldn't that make them 'easier' of being women (in such way) rather than harder?

  • How can more girls be coupled than guys? The girls would be coupled with guys which would mean the guys are coupled, too. & how exactly does this relate to hardship?

Yes, it may be harder for the man to cope after divorce but it is not harder for the man BECAUSE of gender discrimination. All of the hardships that women have to go through (looking after a family, not being employable, being sexually harassed, not being taken seriously, whatever else) are the result of gender discrimination.

  • We're talking about hardship of life. My point is both men and women have their own hardships. For women it may be some discrimination, for men it's other stuff (ie. lone life after divorce) . I replied to you at first because you said it is not just as easy (or hard should I say) for a woman than man.

Anyway, I think it would be nice to see your comments on some of TJ's other responders, though. Not requesting you to do it, but just saying.

  • Yeah, I certainly agree with you that both men and women have their hardships that they go through. Men and women can't be identical in their plights because they are different and will experience and go through different things in their lives. But I think women have more hardships due to discrimination, which is something that can be changed and which is why feminism still plays a role in society (linking back to the original topic).

  • I think a lot of the complaints to feminists around here, like TJ's, are not totally addressing towards the topic of "feminist". I put it in quotes because some people misuse that term. It should only mean women wanting gender equality. A woman who hates men by default and tell other woman what to do and what not should not call herself a feminist. That's more like an extremist. You correctly called yourself a feminist and I think a lot of men will respect that.

  • That's true. I certainly only respect women who use the word 'feminist' in the way I think it should be used. Also, any woman who thinks that gaining the respect of a man isn't the most important thing in the world is obviously deluded.

  • In order to not be discriminated against a woman would have to completely abandon anything that is not achievement oriented. Make-up, cosmetics and visual stimulation would have to be dropped if you wanted to be taken seriously.

  • Besides from the obvious that men and women can be coupled with their own sex, and that they don't have to do it to the same extent, there is also an other possibility.

For simplicity, lets look at heterosexual monogamous persons. Then at any one time it is true that as many men as women are coupled, but during a time period more women than men may have been coupled at some point during that time period. So that for instance, a handfull of guys have many relationships with many different women.

  • It's strange that some seem to think that only women are the ones being discriminated against because of their sex, and why feminism only wants to improve the conditions of women.

Feminism doesn't want equality, it wants the same benefits for women as for men in areas where men have it better but it doesn't want men to have the same benefits as women in areas where women have it better.

  • Incorrect. I consider myself a feminist & I believe that human beings should have equal rights regardless of their gender. I recognise that men are also discriminated against in many circumstances. I fight for gender equality, not the success of woman over man. Many males are also feminists.

& it is not about 'benefits', it is about equal rights & equal opportunity in larger social issues, something which I believe women struggle with today, which is why feminism focuses on the plight of women.

  • I stand corrected, not the first time and certainly not the last.

  • Give me one instance, just one, where a woman is discriminated against today. I can't think of one.

  • @shmiggen: the plight of the muslim woman in afghanistan and surrounding countries, for one.

  • Good, I am glad you support our troops then, who are there to liberate the women of those countries. Thanks for your support.

  • "Feminism doesn't want equality, it wants the same benefits for women as for men in areas where men have it better but it doesn't want men to have the same benefits as women in areas where women have it better."

Like, for example? I think if any woman would not want men to have the benefit they have, it's leaning towards the extremist side more than being just feminist.

  • Have you ever witnessed a campaign by feminists where they demand that men shall have the same rights as women in some area where women have it better? Of course not. For example, in my country men get descriminated against when parents fight over custody of their children. Feminists never complain about this, instead they hide women that have kidnapped their children so that the children can't see their fathers.

  • but you also enable gender discrimination because the feminine mystique relies upon make-up, cosmetics and visual stimulation, not achievement. The only thing that men consider valuable in men is achievement, but women do not embrace this, they embrace visual stimulation, not achievement. Only achievements will give you respect.

  • that is a personal problem that you have to deal with as a mature adult.

  • wtf? he doesnt state any examples of how it is more difficult to be a woman. and even if anyone did, i can easily counter that by pointing to the gazillion amount of situations where women get preferential treatment.

you make it seem like people are attacking radical feminism as feminism as a whole, but that isn't true in most cases. people have made good cases against the PC version of feminism.

  • Thanks for being rational and articulate...

  • Agreed.
