As for anyone bitching about your playing, they're dumb. Edge plays things differently all the time. And if he saw your videos I am sure he'd say :

A) Well done.

B) Oh, that is a better way to play some of the songs

and

C) Great tone and usual.

I like that you're not doing note-perfect covers. If I wanted it to hear the songs played exactly like U2, I'll listen to the U2 versions. You're just giving your interpretations of their songs. Your versions of "Wild Horses", "Promenade", "Ultraviolet", and "One" (the version played quietly on a Strat) are so good because the angles you took were different from the originals.
