i have a mk1 polo... not the safest of cars haha, but i dont think buying a car for safety is right, for many resons, 1 being the if everything you done in life was for safety, life would be boring.. also, butterfly effect (some may think a stupid theory) but, if you crash a modern car, then you would be thankful that you was in a safe modern car, but then, you could think of it in a way, that if you had a different car, everything could be different, thus, may not have ever been in the crash :)
