Aaaa, maybe because the bogu is new and the gloves are still uncomfortable. And the men looks a bit different. But I like the tsuki . I think overall they moved well . Coreans are even more rigid than japanese in kendo I guess. However, this bogu makes you look like ASIMO the HONDA ROBOT. :)
@rascheid The Kirikeishi they are performing is correct, it is an alternative version to it. You hit the left and right side of the 'Men' instead of hitting Shinai.
by the look of the faces these men are about the size of a motorcycle crash helmet - that would make us all look like the average under 8 year old in bogu!
If you listen to the comentary in the background, the announcers say that the homyon/men is being developed to reduce the impact on the head when struck. This is under development especially for children and older kumdo practitioners' use.
Is that men made of some kind of plastic? They look like aliens.
