  • heyyyy awesome graphics !!! could i run fsx with this specs like in this video on my new gaming PC ? thank you very much ! I7 980x extreme edition overclocked at 4 Ghz. RAM 12GB DDR3 @ 1600 mhz. video card: GTX 580 3GB EVGA.

  • how much you paied for that pc ?

  • Hi i got an i7 950@3.06ghz 6 gigs if ram DDR3 and a gtx 480 is good for fsx?

  • YOU PUT FLAPS DOWN TO EARLY LOL

  • @kirtusmiller

This is not a how to fly video: Read the title LOL

  • @crashmax73 hehe nice video though

  • hey i got a question when i turn all my settings to maximum it still looks like crap (well atleast no where near as good as urs) i got a 260gtx and core i7

  • @Zantekk This is a really nice addon from ORBX

  • @Zantekk wat is your memory? i think on the graphix that i c in this vid its min 4 gb ram DDR3 also very importand, i got a core I7 -960 (on 4 x 3.8Ghz) stable and 8 GB ram DDR3-2000mhz + the GTX470 superclocked version , and i can putt everything on high on my 24" full HD LED monitor ;)

    GrtZZ

  • Can u tell me if u tweaked the fsx.cfg file?

  • Great !!

  • awesome scenery Orbx is in a league of their own

  • Stilll runs like crap

    worhtless application.

  • Nice vid! its just what i have 980x and 2x480gtx but ive overclocked my 6 cores to 4.0ghz! FSX rocks in sli. Im waiting for Intel 8 core they say FSX will be very very stable at settings to high with alot of addons!

  • hee, can you tell me what sort of plane this is? or is this an addon airplane?

    nice video though !!!

  • nice,

but now you first have to learn how to fly, smooth and geantly....

  • Finally with the latest 6-core i-7 980 and the GTX480 we can run FSX maxxed out and with nice add-ons. Now all that remains is to buy these components at reasonable prices...

  • hey very nice graphics!

  • Handles it with no problem duh! Great video!

  • @Appleshaz It costs $1,819.25 Canadian dollars with tax ($1,819.25 without tax) and if you add the RAM, Mobo, Hard Drive, Case and all those other things, it can cost you a small fortune!

  • How much frame rates do you get?

  • hey man loving the channel and vids especially im just turning 16 next week so im gonna get a job hopefully.nd try get good pc end of year hopefully so prob the 980x and 480 dropped in price a bit.just want to ask is it really silky smooth no stutters with addon scenery rex traffic and pmdg blah blah... ive subbed nice vids man reply to this would be great happy flying

  • can you please do xplane demo on 980x?

  • @LTF85199

Hi, I'm not have enough time to do this, sorry.

  • @crashmax73 oh okay, that's alright thanks for the reply

  • @LTF85199 xplane isnt very computer intensive... if this comp can run fsx... xplane will run even better guaranteed.

  • how much did your pc cost?

  • Now that's what i call monster pc...subscribing now.

  • You need a 256 core CPU to move this FSX at smooth global frames!... search it in youtube

  • Is this a add on plane if not try alll add on and then maxed out ur FSX I have a 285GTX maxed out on core I7 860 at 2.80GHz. 8GB of ram I have lot of add on in my FSX lol.

  • :-), have u tested 980+480 as the previous JFK and manhattan x. Is it above 30fps? Thanks for your demo.

  • @jcdb666

I have tested JFK and Manhattan X. FPS are between 22 and 32 (with UT2! without FPS are between 28 and 36). You get not higher FPS with a GTX480. But FPS is not important in FSX. Far more important is, that the new GTX480 eats REX clouds and water for breakfast and you can sittings maxed out while you use all the eye candy addons and even though FSX is very smooth!

  • @crashmax73

thx! Got it! It is not ideal for me. In terms of i7-980x and gtx480, which one do you prefer if you can only buy one to improve the experience for playing FSX? :-)

  • @jcdb666

Definitely the GTX480!! IF you have an i7 System!

  • @crashmax73

Thanks. But why? You said 480 didn't gave more frames, but 980 could increase the frames. If we just use 480+i7 920, what could give us?

  • @jcdb666

For FSX FPS over 25 are good enough. The main problem are stutters and this are, if you have a decent CPU, Mobo, HDD and Memory, most related to the GPU and it's drivers.

  • @crashmax73

Thanks for your advice. Ready to buy gtx480 as you said!;-)

  • @crashmax73 where its the meaning of stutters (sorry im spanish)?

  • @AGSystem27 Stutter means when the video or game your playing on the screen stops and go's and keeps doing that even though your getting a good frame rate. I hope that helps!

  • @crashmax73 stutters at low frames is caused by slow driv reading I have found. SSD sorted that out :)

  • nice

  • Absolutely no change in performance does the graphic card.

Gtx 480 is equal to a 280 EXPECT you play at higher res. or with multi monitors...

The only effect could be due to the more Vram faster loading textures... (Which you wont notice...)

  • @Maxbladee

Not for me! Have had GTX285 and 5870. Now with GTX480 I can run Scenery settings maxed out with heavy REX weather, even at JFK. For me performance is much better, although I get not more FPS, but FPS does not matter as long it's higher than 25.

  • Is this EVERYTHING maxed? even water cars etc etc?

  • This is great. What are ur frames like?

  • @Supremist77

Locked at 31 and always stays there.

  • Lovely... now lets see how it runs at KLAX or JFK with a PMDG + Max settings!!

  • Amazing! The day of the maxed out sliders has finally arrived! What addons are you running with that btw?

  • @Marinpastorn

ORBX NABlue and Darrington, REX, GEX, UTX, UT2
