That's amazing they let a jet car go 300 mph!! They are usually limited to 250mph (or less) due to insurance...

I was there are as well. I live in Nashville now but used to live near Norwalk. Have been going to Night Under Fire for 5 years. Maybe we will get Motz back this year :-)

i was there... my grandpas bestfriend is actually bill bader ( owner ) and was there in the tower.. i was also at the season opener last night and the first car down the track crashed and they post poned it till may 3rd

thats awesome have any of u guys been back to norwalk they just paved the entire pit area. its cool but it gets really hot in the summer. i go with my grandpa keith mcleanan some weekends so i see alot of new things. but recently i couldnt because he went to new york but he set the new track record in e.t. and mph. i am very proud of him.

Norwalk is AWESOME!! I go there every year for the Ames Pontiac Nationals. The place looks brand new and the people are very friendly! I live in Indy and O'Riley Raceway where they have the US Nationals (formally Indianapolis Raceway Park) looks like a dump compared to Norwalk. As for the heat it gets hot every where in the summer unless your in Canada.

Wrong. At the IHRA event in Grand Bend (ontario) a few years ago the temperatures well well into the 90's in the heat of the day. With the humidity factored in it was almost unbearable.

Went last summer to the NHRA event, it was sweet. Nice facilities. BTW Ashley Force is really hot in person ;-)
