When I took my passport application to the post office the guy behind the counter actually said 'you could have got a better photo than that.' Is that like a pay out and a complement at the same time?
I just recently got my ID card in the mail and I looked at the picture and it looks like a mug shot. I wasn't sure if the lady took my picture or not so I just stopped smiling. I mean, is it really that awkward for them to say "Okay, one, two, three," then click? That way, you at least know when to smile? Now because of her failure to count, I look like I just got out of prison.
In England with ID photos the person taking the photo have to make that your head stays in the middle, your not smiling and your eyes have to open (no offence).
I know DX I had an ID photo taken recently and I had just been laughing at something my friend said, so my face was all red and I was wearing a top with a wide neck, and one side had slipped in, so I looked like some kind of crazy drunk.
My passport photo doesnt look like me anymore...i've lost a lot of weight since it was taken...and i've grown my hair...so i know what you're talking about...

I know what you mean.. the ID photos yeah... I only look good in mine when I'm sick, You always make me laugh... I made my husband watch you and he says you're like if me and Yatzee from zero punctuation had a love child... similar sense of humour and verbal mannerisms maybe...
