I've wanted to visit Hong Kong since watching this video, it seems like a cute and vibrant place. However, it seems some people from Hong Kong are really hostile towards people from the mainland, (insinuating they are locusts out to take advantage of Hong Kong and stuff in newspaper adverts). If anyone's visited Hong Kong before,could they tell me whether it's really intolerant out there? I don't want to pay money to be looked down on...

Of course, every place, no matter where you go, has intolerance--so I'm not saying everyone is nice in HK.

If it really bothers you, just speak English if you want to communicate with the people there. Almost everyone knows English.
