  • WHOUAAA AHA....!..:-)

  • There was a comment by Pal back in the '80s that made a lot of people laugh. He said something like "why do people say we don't rock like Whitesnake: A-ha rocks!" For those who had only seen their videos and heard their pop popular material that seemed laughable.

Listen starting at 4:10 - that's what he meant.

  • Any way you can send me the mp3 of this version or tell me where I can get it?

  • Another great live version of this song from that period. How did it become so boring as they have played it the past few years???

  • How can I sleep with Morten's beautiful voice in my head.

  • 4:52 what a gay photo! LOL

  • HOT! HOT! HOT!!!!!

  • this is one of the rocky ist songs a ha ever done!!!! Great Live Version

    The Best ever !!!!

  • SOOO SCHÖÖÖN !!!

    DANKE !!!

  • I LOVE this song...and it sounds amazing live

  • Thanks for such wonderful selection

  • Morten is 'The Sexiest Man Alive'.....between 30 years!!!

  • Beautiful song, just beautiful...

  • thats my favorite song by a-ha, my one and only band. i remember i was on a vacation and heard in my walkman the 2 cassets i had- 'hunting high and low' and 'scoundrel days'. come to isarel!!

  • the favorite to Morten as well..he said so...awesome singer, marvelous band!

  • WHO else can sing so perfect in live??????

    i love what i hear!!!!thanks Morten

  • Yeah thanks, Morten. As always your breathtaking voice never fails us. But what's with the gormlessness at 5:47?

  • explain what you mean, I couldn´t find anything wrong

  • Where and when is this live recording from ?

  • The same as cold as stone / sycamore leaves, which you were right about,

    Oslo 1994

  • One of my favorites of the Scoundrel Days album... I love this song.

  • I heard Morten in an Interview saying this song was his favorite, since then I have some special feeling about it, very nice pic compilation, congrats Silvia

  • I too have heard Morten say several times that this is his favorite song. It has always been one of mine. Everything about the song is great... lyrics, music and of course Morten's voice!

  • Great song great band!!!

  • This is an amazing video. So many wonderful pictures I have not seen before! Thank you for sharing! I love A-HA, I especially love A-HA live! This song is also in my top 20 favorite song list. Pal, will go down as one of the greatest guitar players ever I think! His fingers are red hot, pure magic on the guitar strings. Bless his heart, even Morten's fine tuned instruement can be a little off sometimes. He sounded a little strained & hoarse in some places, a professional hazard for singers.

  • Yes don´t forget this was live, in live not aleays the singers are in their best, however I believe Morten sang pretty well his voice is just amazing, there is nothing on earth to compare with.< Silvia

  • I agree completely, he has a voice that was sent straight from heaven. I will never fault Morten when he is singing live. However, you cannot be perfect all the time. All it takes is a cold or a soar throat or one too many concerts in a row for hoarsness to set in or even worse laryngtitis. Most singers you probably wouldn't notice the difference in their singing, but Morten, because he has that marvelous singing voice... you will hear the diference. Most of the time, Morten sounds perfect live!

  • but you know who never gets enough praise? mags. he is probably one of the best modern composers around, and his piano and synthesizer playing is top-notch! go mags! and love this song :)

  • You will get no argument from me on that, SChique00! Each of these men have a unique gift & talent unto themselves. From song writing to guitar playing, to nimble fingers on a keyboard, to a voice unmatched... and to the brilliant personalities that are Magne & Morten (sorry Pal, you're so quiet most of the time). All three of these wonderful, amazing, talented men have never been given the credit and praise that they so rightly deserve! Together they are A-HA and they are MAGIC!!!!!!!

  • thanks for backing me on that one.

  • One of my favorite song! I love you Morten...

  • FANTASTIC VERSION !!!!

  • Greatest song......

  • Even fire is not as burning hot as MORTEN!!!!!

  • Sooo great work!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!!!! Greetings from Norway

  • I LOVE the rippin' guitar solo on this version!

  • Thanks for this version, frostygirl.

  • Oh so yummy!!!!!! This song is great!

  • the gitar playing is awesome

  • one of my favorite song of a-ha's second album... great video

  • I think this is their best song. Actually, as much as I love Hunting High and Low, I think Scoundrel Days is an even better album throughout.

  • I actually LOVE hearing that a lot many people like this song. There was a time before the internet when I thought I was the last remaining fan of this band and this particular song especially. I'm seriously glad the lyricism and craftsmanship of this song are still appreciated by intelligent people!

  • one of my favorite song of a-ha's second album... great video !

  • Wow, i'm totally speechless... This is a fast version of this song, and I like it, specially, of course, the great gitar solo in 4:07... Paul Waaktaar-Savoy is one of the best!!!

  • This was during the Memorial Beach tour, they were VERY guitar focused then (now they are more "jazzy"). I remember people made fun of A-ha once when Pal compared his guitar work with Whitesnake (John Sykes). Well, those who laughed obviously never heard this song; he's not shredding but he's ripping it like there's no tomorrow.

This is the best version of this song.
