the truth is as a twilight fan i have to admit (as i work in book shop and have done for 17 years) these came out years before stephanie meyer even picked up a pen.
i wish people would stop comparing this to twilight, this is more like, Desperate Housewives with more sex, drugs, blood, violence and possible more vampires, shifters and telepaths =]
@TheSalv99 these novels that TrueBlood is based on were written before twilight actually. So there's no comparison. It isn't a made for HBO script. It's a book they adapted that flippin rocks! that's why i know who's going to die in the next one. and who is coming in this seasons. And it is WAAAAAY better than that adolescent bullshit. how can you watch a vampire movie and there not be anymore than a few little bloody scrapes here and there? I think vampire's should be grittier, bloodier!

its like Twilight with sex....theres the drama and the love triangles....yeah...Twilight but WAY more hardcore.
