I don't consider my self a follower of any religion, and I like this band based solely on the content of their music. Believers are always condescending to those who question, like you've seen some great secret. If we're forgiven in the end anyway, why not question your existence while you can? And from what I remember from it, since music goes back to prehistoric times that means that vocals and any instruments were used mainly for worship. The sounded different (yet, still like DH) on this album. I guess it's because Ryan used a different vocal style on this album. Other that that, they sound like the Demon Hunter we know today.

Christianity isn't a religion...It's a relationship with God. You get saved by grace and not by works. Some theology there but people need to hear it. I've heard a lot of arguements in my time about if this type of music from bands such as Demon Hunter, Underoath and even bands like Switchfoot aren't honouring God because apparently there's some reference in the bible to what kind of music you can listen to. Back in the day they never had the type of equipment we had back then.
I think everyone should just calm down though. Enjoy the music and brothers and sisters we are never going to be able to bring people to Christ with the attitude that you just presented.

@Arke91 The belief in God the creator was the first religion. Yes, others may have been recorded as "first", but all those others came off of this first belief, all in their own twisted way. Also, obviously; people rarely ever believe as their parents do. True, many do stay along the same lines as they were raised to, but many change their beliefs. I don't know much about christianity and i couldn't care less. They have good lyrics and i take them my own way. Demon Hunter are long ago one of my fav's bands. To be honest i only noticed the definition christian metalcore on wikipedia two days ago. I think it's cool, but i'm not sure if you people should make a big deal out of it. And I wonder... did they haver shared a stage with a black/death metal satanic-type of band?

Christianity isn't a religion...It's a relationship with God. You get saved by grace and not by works. Some theology there but people need to hear it. I've heard a lot of arguements in my time about if this type of music from bands such as Demon Hunter, Underoath and even bands like Switchfoot aren't honouring God because apparently there's some reference in the bible to what kind of music you can listen to. Back in the day they never had the type of equipment we had back then.

But getting back on topic, it's because you're saying that music was created because of people using it to worship God. Think of African and Native America tribes who made their own music that had nothing to do with the christian God. I can't say music wasn't originally used for worship/rituals, but I'm fairly certain it didn't start with God.

@Arke91 The belief in God the creator was the first religion. Yes, others may have been recorded as "first", but all those others came off of this first belief, all in their own twisted way. Also, obviously; people rarely ever believe as their parents do. True, many do stay along the same lines as they were raised to, but many change their beliefs. What one person believes is specific to themself, because it is their own personal relationship with their God.

To answer your argument, Christianity is a fulfillment of Judaism. I ask you to look towards Primitive/Apostolic Christianity, and not after the era of the Nicene council. Christianity was persecuted against more than anything during this era, and many martyrs were created. And still, christian or not, people are still being persecuted today. People are to blame, but Jesus Christ is perfect. Stop looking at people so much, and start looking at Christ. God didn't ask you to follow Bob's example.

The law of conservation of angular momentum would mean all things in space would be rotating the same way from the big bang's spinning, yet they don't. you know something is flawed when it contradicts itself.

@Slasher1251 Air is a compound of many elements, which ARE REAL, wind is made with a depression high to low pressure areas....and what do you mean by our? i bet more then half the damn people in the world are atheist...and i don't blame them, its natural to question what Made the earth, and the weak that cant comprehend turn to belief in something they want to be real.

@corrion2343 really how are you sure the elements are there? and really is it easier to believe in nothing or to believe in something where you could die for believeing? so no the weak dont turn the strong the ones with the stronger will stronger faith and all that people that turn are stronger cause they have to believe in something that makes more sence then anything else BUT we get persecuted for it

@Slasher1251 i guess, ill end with people like me(half the population) will continue to die quite happy with our lives, and some of us will of made great progress towards finding our reason for existing and what made The Universe....and truefully, if you DENY what has been proven with science then yes, i guess it makes more sense that cyanide wont kill you...so go get some ^.^, anyway...Believe what you must, i really don't care...but the world will slowly get sick of belief..even in science

@corrion2343 just fyi science has prooved God more real then any other theory the "big bang" crap someone came up with 100 or more years ago they say they know how it happend they say they know what took place they try to redo it and yet nothing happens hmmmm i wonder if thats abunch of baloney science has prooved nothin except God to be real so dont try tellin me its prooved the big bang crap when its only prooved it false

1) You are the one making the assertion, the burden of evidence is on you.
2) It is weak not to question your beliefs, if your faith is strong enough, it should persist because faith is completely subjective in and of itself and is trivial since nobody fully understands our existence, whatever works for you.
3) You're right, it is the foul men who use it as an excuse to commit heinous acts that the religion condones that makes the quality of life for others worse.
