i really love this game, i have played all exept origins and homecoming, the hard thing is that this is tottaly different gameplay, so...its not really right to put them with the others, its like comparing mario with zelda, the reason why i love sh is the story, so for me they are all great (exept sh2, that doesnt have a lot to do with silent hill) but this one, i love the story, the puzzles, the running, the emotions attached to objects, the cellphone, i really like this style

GREAT game, very interesting story with absolutely amazing twist, great music (as always), good gameplay, only one warning - don't expect real survival horror, because it's easy and not scary at all. If you want good survival horror, play 1-4 (all very scary) and Origins (that one has boring story, but is quite good in the horror department).

Great job Konami! One of the greatest suspense games I've EVER played. It's DIFFERENT...that's for SURE. One of the hardest games I've ever played! Although there is no gun or anything to protect yourself with, it's still action-oriented and tough to get through. EVERYTHING you CHOOSE shapes the GAME! Amazing.

this game actually has more replay value than all the others. me and 4-5 other friends played this a good way through-and we all have different personalities. and all of them showed up in the game. it was a very different experience for all of us. and yes, it has great endings that have to do with the story, not you. as for campaigns, i believe there's costumes-but not much else. it's very simply an interactive story.

not really, it is a reimagination. The characters here in Shattered Memories are already different from their original self, like Dahlia who here is a young blond, sexy girl, while originally she was a 46 year old high priestess of a cult, acting like some old crazy hag. The story seems to be very different, so if you want to know the PS1 game, try to get a hold of the PS1 game. I know it is difficult, but worth it! :)

Not just for that... you have to fill some papers asking about some personal questions, some of them have sexual themes like: "Do you roleplay during sex?" and "Do you think of other people during sex?"... and the caracters will have more sex appeal depending on your answers.
