I've only played Extreme G on the N64 and I must say these last 2 games on the Gamecube/Ps2 look a lot less intimidating than the original N64 game. The N64 game was scary when I was little with the music (they weren't happy melodies) and the wasteland tracks and spooky cities, and the bikes were ugly.
This game would have remained as epic as XG-3 except for the visibility issue with mach 1 speed. It was basically a lose button until you got used to the momentary blur. The tracks were great, and the music was wonderful though. A little unpleasant to race at full speed sometimes.....but again, only one scratch on a great game.
@mechasaultfreak2 nope no 360 version. Gamecube version works on the Wii and the Playstation edition works on the PS3 (might not on all of them, depends on the hardware/software)
@mechasaultfreak2 I can't see XGRA on the list of compatible emulated games or xbox Originals. And i doubt its going to happen commercially, seeing as Acclaim has been bankrupt for years, and the company with the Intellectual Property of the XG series hasnt done anything for 3 years+.
Wow! I built this level. It's nice to see it again after all these years. It's not as bad as I remember it. some trivia for trivia fans. It was named after a Mate's D&D character and if you look carefully you can see Doctor WHO's TARDIS in the harbour amongst the crates (probably not in this video though, you have to go slow). Also, Scarecrow was named after me - it was my Unreal Tournament name in the studio. Most of the company names in the game were gamer tags of folks that worked on XGRA
@Scarecrow69 You should probabaly get to work on extreme g 5 then for the next gen consoles.......... haha, If a new extreme g came out i would piss my pants :)
My favourite bike is Manta, but I race using Scarecrowe cause it presents more of a challenge. I also use the inside cockpit view, it gave my friends motion sickness watching me play. This game also got me onto BT, who is now my favourite musician. It's the gift that just keeps on giving.
who are the 2 dudes who keep poppin up in the mini boxes to the left

Stop hitting the sides ._.

@ShadowPandamassacre it is impossible to win and not hit sides at all in this game. you go too slow if you try not to hit all the sides.
