Turns out the visual memory of QWERTY is much stronger than the tactile memory. You won't send your thumb to hit space, you'll send the nearest finger which is the pinky finger. Every tester started to type from the box.

Is "qwerty" still going across? Seems like it should be going up with the "Y" at the top of the right hand - so you would use the same fingers as you do with a regular keyboard.
