I haven't played the Revelations demo, but i'm excited to get it on friday. It does look like a proper RE game, showing that you're right; they CAN make an atmospheric over the shoulder camera game.

With regards to the RE6 trailer, it looks ridiculous. Capcom have decided to go super generic with it to compete with the more mainstream titles, which is such a shame considering how decent Revelations looks.

@battsaa I wouldn't say the entire trailer is like that, Leon's segments look to have a lot of potential, in the same way Revelations does, based on the demo, and Chris' will be action packed, generic etc but at least it won't be the whole game this time.

RE5 was good both as an action game and an resident evil game to me anyway but when it comes to wesker who is the best lol it's hit or miss as to if he comes back or not i think he will but time will tell as to RE6 there was chris leon alex i think and 2 others it look's awesome and this year looks to a resident evil year lol

@x0InfernoNova0x You seem to have gotten the impression I thought 43T was a terrible game outright, it wasn't, but as a RESIDENT EVIL game it was, I don't mind the action too much, it was the lack of atmosphere, terrible story and the fact that it was a main series game, plus tacked on co op.

And just as your comment was your opinion, the video was my own by the same token.

Great video, I'm really quite optimistic about resi 6. Although I can't help feeling frustrated that the full game couldn't be all like Leon's segment of the game. They could really do the series a favor if they had. Time will tell I suppose and I can't wait to get it!

@1UpGameUp They're not going to go back to the way the older games were in full, but I do see Leon's segments being a cross between the old and new, much like Revelations. I've not played the full game, but the demo bar for the camera angle really felt like a classic Resident Evil game in terms of its atmosphere and the threat enemies pose due to limited ammo, I hope Leon replicates this in RE6.

And also, have you considered that the mercenary could be Alex Wesker? Even though it's unlikely, he has the same qualities as Albert. Also, there's a scene in the trailer were he's injecting himself with some sort of serum..

Think of it this way, I guess they wanted to change a little in RE5, we have 5 real survivor horror games anyway, a one-off game with full-on action shouldn't hurt. Let's hope RE6 goes back to its roots though with a BIT of action...

@MetalGearSteel It was a side game I wouldn't have minded, but it was a main series game so I think they should have tried a bit harder with it to be honest, to make it more atmospheric mainly.

@htaste RE4 was an action game, but it still had atmosphere and to me it was still a great game, 5 had the same gameplay but no atmosphere for most of it, not to mention tacked on co op. I'm sure Leon's segments like Revelations will make up for this.
