The root problem is money, but money won't disappear from the planet tomorrow. Rounding the First Nations up and sticking them on little plots of land in free houses sounds like a good deal, but it isn't. Their governments pay white contractors and businessmen to fix their houses, streets, cars, computers, etc. If commitment were made to teaching them trades, medicine, construction, and agriculture, then they could maintain the communities we were so "nice" to build for them.

im from ermineskin...but i moved away...you always hear on the news something about hobbema and people laugh at us ones from hobbema that dont live there....you know its tiring...it hurts because i wish to be there....there are so many good people there...*TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE* all it takes is a cigarette....go to an elder there are quite a few....go ask them to teach you thats all it takes....learn before they're all gone

I was a lot there in 1987-1988,everyone i meet treat me well.I realy hope they can Get there streets back.Great video.
