how do u get the background to look so dark with all the lights when i try to do it and color correct it my whole picture becomes to dark

@mrbball1396 I used magic bullet looks. I tweaked a filter that knocked down the darks without effecting the lights.

@matttchapman was it a preset on it because i use pinnacle 14 ult. and it comes with looks and if it was which filter was it

@mrbball1396 I added it as a plug-in for Final Cut Pro. I think I used a filter called crime scene. But I had to tweak it to get it knock down the darks. I also bumped the contrast a little. Are you sure Pinnacle doesn't use quick looks? it doesn't have as much tweaking capabilities, but is damn good for the price.

@matttchapman yea i think it is quick looks but it is really useful u should make a video only using pinnacle to show that you can still make great videos even using a inexpensive program

The one suggestion I would provide would be having her play it twice, once for wide angles and another time for close ups like the flip on her guitar but otherwise very good cinematography and angle selection :)

@mickeyluvr13 I actually did have more cameras including a close up cam. I just didn't use it this time. Also, the idea was shoot it "live to tape". Meaning I didn't cut together two different takes of the same performance. Rather only chose one take and used various cameras from that performance to make it a unplugged, and more of a "live" feel.
