This is a nice tribute to Eccleston's series. You've got all the great moments in this. I really liked Nine and loved the Doctor/Rose dynamic. I thought it was interesting that we really came to rediscover the Doctor through Rose's eyes.

9, Rose, and even a bit of 10/Rose really made this series the best it was. All his other companions after her really haven't compared to the first year of the series' return. Rose marked an incredible turning point in Dr. Who. The Dr. fell in love with a companion, unfortunately the real Dr. had to live on but Rose was left in a parallel universe living with his clone.

Season 1 is my favourite mostly for Eccleston (and his chemistry with Rose) and the fantastic episodes: Dalek, The empty childand the finale eps. Eccleston is the greatest doctor ever. It's such a shame he didn't get into the role and decided to leave. He was so perfect!

@Spectic Agreed. Eccelston is still *my* Doctor. While I enjoyed a bit of Who here and there before Chris, he made me a FAN of Doctor Who. Tennant was good.....but the "wild and zany" bit could be grating....Chris' Doctor was perfect. Nothing annoying about him. Damn shame we didn't get just one more season out of him....but better one than none.

@monny287 okay heres the deal. It is the same person. He has the same memories, however, when he changes, every cell in his entire body is instantly replaced, giving him a new body, and his personality changes. the option of a personality change gives each actor a chance to do something different. It's one person, buttt, it's still a completely different person every time.

When I first watched Dr. Who, the 9th Doctor's personality quickly won me over. I liked the chemistry between Rose and him too. I haven't seen much of the 10th doctor. Watching this makes me want to watch the show over from the start.

I think the actor who becomes 'our doctor' is the one we watch first. That seems to be the trend I notice. The 10th was my first so he's my doctor, but I do really like Eccleston, too. I also wish Eccleston had more than just one season. I'll be watching the 11th but he'll never be as good as 9 and 10 in my eyes. Then again, we should never say never.

david tennant gave us a nerdy playful gorgeous tenth doctor that was easy to love and laugh with...but christopher eccleston-sigh-gave us a doctor that was more matured almost and settled with random bouts of joking that kept everyone completely off guard...adored david as ten but eccleston will always be THE doctor for me.

what will become of the tenth doctor?? will he regenerate or just heal himself in a rather dramatic fashion?? only time will tell, they say they will have a year long break on doctor who next season, this season is almost at a close here in australia i am keen to see what happens, i am also confident in the not toooo distant future i will continue to enjoy more doctor who adventures!
