@djpdr Torterra is a Pokémon with good Defenses, and it's not got the best Speed and has a good Attack Stat, and a good moveset would be Seed Bomb, Curse, Crunch and Earthquake, or you could try Stone Edge instead of Crunch if you want. Torterra works well in a Trick Room due to its poor Speed stat.

@Metang375 hey check it out i breeded my old torterra and looked for a jolly nature which ups my speed and lowers my sp.att which i wont use and i ev trained my torterra in speed and everything else except sp.att and my torterra is very fast

@djpdr Torterra might not have the best Speed stat, and a Jolly Nature is fine. Torterra can learn Rock Polish, and that could help boost Torterra's Speed to outrun faster opponents like Sceptile or Garchomp in battle.

@djpdr Well I did use Torterra in this episode, and I'll might try Metagross, Togekiss, Electivire, Metagross or Empoleon one time, although I did use Elekid and Metang in my past episodes, and I use a Metagross in my Wi-Fi Matches, so I'll might do them.

@ToelleUrLaputa Combine Curse and Trick Room, and Torterra will be a great Tank and destroy opponents in the Trick Room, if it's against something like Slowbro or Dusknoir, that requires about 3 or 4 Curses for Torterra.

Out of the starters in my pearl version I would definitely now agree. I went with piplup though my first play threw just because it was a penguin but honestly second play through i now understand my mistake. Torterra is a tank that is easily adapted to other team strategies such as cherrim/sunny day or trick room teams. My current team plan is a cherrim/ sunny day/ wall team.

thanks a lot you are a big help but I have a question what if before I have a Torterra I have a Turtwig and it has a a Docile nature and I EV Train it with almost all its stats mostly attack and defense and special defense and special attack is that a good idea

@Bender17y It's ok, but it doesn't need alot of Speed. Attack, Defense and Special Defense are good, but HP is another good stat.

Lol, a cursing torterra, that's awesome. I have one as well, except it only has one attack: outrage (since outrage hits every type except steel for neutral damage). Torterra can also learn amnesia, making it even more bulky.

@GrassSquid Amnesia and Outrage are great moves for Torterra, Outrage can give type coverage against Dragon type Pokémon, and Amnesia can help you against Special Attackers like Alakazam, Magmortar and Gengar.

@gbhighentertainments I'll try Umbreon one time, because Umbreon has good Defenses, an Impish or Adamant Nature Umbreon with Curse, Sucker Punch, Return and Protect, maybe Iron Tail for Rock types, but because it is inaccurate, I don't recommend this move.

A specil sweeping solock would be great with careful nature and the moves trick room, cosmic power, baton pass, and grvity. ev trained in hp specil defens and defense.

@TheFridayGuy That would be a good Solrock to use, and by the way, Baton Pass can be obtained in Pokémon XD, and Trick Room and Cosmic Power are good moves.

@stevieFFmaster HP, in the Slowpoke Well, when you use Surf, you can battle many Slowpokes there, or the Ruins of Alph waters where you can battle Wooper and Quagsire, also if you have a Power Weight, then that would give you more EVs in HP.

Your welcome. I did have a Torterra with Seed bomb but I never taught it to my EV trained one, which I regret. Mine has Wood hammer, which is why I have Synthesis to get back lost HP.
