@schemerlamp As a guitar player of 16 years I can tell you he is very very good. Solid fundamentals and plenty of soul too. Now he is not David Gilmour but who of us can aspire to such heights? Yes, many of these parts sound better on a Strat but that's where originality and creativity come in. A cover is only unique when you take it and add your mark to it.

The only reason I can think of why there's a skip in the vocal solo is that she needed to change to a higher pitch which she never does.
