For normal saves, you use the best save available to you. For example, a unit of nobz with cybork bodys and eavy armour in a bunker have a 4+ armour save, a 5+ invulnerable save, and a 3+ cover save. If they are hit by a boltgun, which is AP(armour piercing) 5, they can use any save they want. If they are hit by a heavy bolter, which is AP 4, they can use cover or invulnerable saves(note that ranged weapons ignore armour saves that are equal or lower than the ap value. I.e. a bolt

Hey I have a an ork army. Question: how many saves can you get? I have a painboy squad. Orcs have the initial 6+ armour save, they then can have a 5+ invulnerable save and a feel no pain save. Do I get to use all 3? My friend says no but it seems...Idk I just started playing a week ago.

What happens when you have to cross "dangerous terrain" and what is "dangerous terrain"? Can someone please explain!

@fearonthefat when you cross dangourous terrain (something like a mine field or a result of a phscik power) you must roll a die for each model and on the roll of a 1 that thing takes a wound (if its a type of bike it dies on a roll of a 1) other than that its basically just difficult

Would an army of only terminators be legal? or do you need a HQ and all that stuff?

I would look it up myself but, Warhammer seems to have millions of pages of rules.

No.Basically in a "normal game" of 40k you can only have these : 1 HQ (a must) 2 troop choices(musts also)then you have the option of adding more : 3 Elites(you don't have to take all or any),3 Fast Attack,3 Heavy Support,4 additional troop choices. This battle is a different game which isn't the regular game so in this game the forces are structured differnetly. Terminators are elites. in a normal game you can only have 3 elites and in planetstrike its up to 6 squads

Nice looking armies, especially like the orks with the metal buggies and the gorkamorka trukks. I like the older minis and when mixed in with modern releases, give the orks that ragtag looter feel.. using anything till it falls apart. Good old orks, such fun.

Just to point out... you can't take cover saves against barrage weapons, so going to ground was quite purpose defeating....

@DarkVoidize Planet strike is a spin off of warhammer 40k where you are either the defender, or the attacker, and the defender can put fortifications on the board and has more heavy support while the attacker has more elites and fast attack

Aren't the bastions counted as vehicles, so troops inside cannot be shot? I have played that way.

@Deathspirit232 I'm pretty sure they're counted as buildings, which are like vehicles because they have an armor value but blast and template weapons effect them differntly. If you can get the template weapon in range of a fire point on the building then you get D6 hits on they guys inside. After all, modern flamethrowers were invented for that purpose irl.
