Also it's all good and well that you say, for over seven minutes, that the key to being successful is removing the chance to be defrauded - but any old fool that has figured out how to start publishing his products on his own site would know "being defrauded is going to be bad for my business".

Perhaps the fact that it was a stolen credit card allowed the guy to announce a call back to his credit company (report stolen identity, a brilliant con btw) and then deny the product back to Markus through some exploit.

I sold on the Internet once. I trusted all my merchandise to a guy using Paypal. I got pwned like a noob. Yep that pretty much sums it up. I give you credit for noticing the fake e-mail domain but that was a bit too late wasn't it?
