neosporin doesn't damage your tattoo unless you're careless with it. an extra thin coat won't damage your tattoo in any way, i use it all the time for my tats... i use the kind with pain relief, which numbs the burning/sore sensation of a fresh tattoo, plus it keeps it from getting infected. its perfect.
