  • "Very disappointing"? Man, you should come to see me playing with my friends

  • Ferrer will still have his slam. Remember what I said.

  • @el9nene ferrer is 5 in the world at 29 years old....both of their bodies were, without a doubt hurting....def ferrer too because he is such a physical player...both are sick players and although ferrer doesnt have the talent of nadal, he has maximized is potential and therefore, has been ranked in the top 20 for quite some time and is now at a career high...not knocking nadal i love him too but both players deserve a world of credit...

  • Quel homme ce Ferrer

  • Ferrer is my idol and has always been :) He played like a fucking beast that day

  • Nadal faked an injury in this match. And Ferrer destroyed him so Nadal loses so many matches when someone really plays him hard and this match is one of the many examples i can give ... AO 2010 vs Murray, Wimby 2011 vs Delpo, all the matches against Djokovic this year ....

  • @RFfan98 there is no doubt that nadal was injured....the fact that he stilled played meant the injury was playable and therefore, credit to ferrer for beating nadal on that day...even nadal said in the press conference that he wouldnt talk about his because he doesnt want to take credit away from ferrer

  • Nasal it's bad l hate nadal

  • @thamr26 learn how to spell and type you ass

  • @JordanjamesX shut the bloody hell up u go and do what nadal has done in his carrer then u can say tht u spec!

  • nadal sucks ... always but always in a game that you are giving tough, says he was not completely well, or he goes to massage the ass to get excited again ... that shit! many players as they came out with an injury history and returned as if nothing happened

  • @alberto6620 Federer sucks! When you lose, tips his poor play, rarely praises opponents and rarely says that the opponent was better. vain, greedy, trash the man. when the gentleman wins, and when lost, it is usually a piece of shit that you do not know how to admit defeat!

  • @GoranMaric89 Nadal sucks! When you lose, tips his poor play, rarely praises opponents and rarely says that the opponent was better. vain, greedy, trash the man. when the gentleman wins, and when lost, it is usually a piece of shit that you do not know how to admit defeat! you wrong men

  • @GoranMaric89 federer is the way he is because most of the time when he loses, it is his own wrong doing, and most of the time when nadal loses it is because other player outplay him

  • @midgetiscool77 That is such a ridiculous statement I actually laughed so hard there. Do you ANYTHING about tennis? You're obviously just another of those new fans who latch onto Federer because of his greatness and refuse to admit he can lose or that people can beat him.

  • @midgetiscool77 True.

  • As always the technique of Nadal, is to exhaust his opponent could not do it with David Ferrer, because once you do not use a little brain is Nadal??? So he goes over Djokovic now, because it has more power and uses the brain .. Or if not only looks like a dog chasing balls and returns

  • Great fight from Rafa after clearly being injured early. It's not like 2010 when he only showed injury in 3rd set. 1-2 he took timeout. But he was very much in this match. and actually watching it I think Ferrer would have won regardless. I mean he choked in the semis against Murray being up a set and 2nd set point at 5-4 40-30

  • Ferrer= Legend

  • Anyway, everytime Nadal loses, it's because he was "injured", that's just ridiculous

  • @mickael026

Not this years US Open, hell yeah!

  • nadal wasnt playing that bad, ferrer was just too gud, consistent, and very aggressive

  • I just became a fan of Ferrer.

  • @SuperCharlysheen Yeah, and he's only 5'9" as well! Gives hope to guys like me ;)

  • Ferrer vs Nadal is set up for the QF if they both make it at the US Open! I am looking forward to another match like this one, lol. Nadal will probably play better this time though, so unlikely.

  • Ferrer was in the fucking zone

  • Good playing from both sides. I love david's game tho.

  • its always glorious to watch the Malorcan Monkey get his pushy-Mcgee style thrown back at him.

  • LOLOLOLOLOL Nadal was crying in the middle of the 3rd set, what an arrogant tosser taking away from Ferrer's win, no?

Also, everytime Nadal gets destroyed is great time for tennis.

  • @choyothe I see you are a federer fanatic. That fucking crybaby is no match for nadal. Why don't you suck federer's dick, you useless moron. Its not like you are married to him, you gay piece of shit. There is no reason to hate nadal. Who won all four grand slams at age 24, huh? Not that bitch federer. Look, when you reply this, don't insult someone a lot smarter then you, you idiot!

  • @nadal354 I have never seen Federer cry, I think I did see Nadal bitch about injuries or sickness in every fucking loss though. They're both good players but Federer is still a legend. Your whole comment is just all scrambled together, makes no sense, so I wouldn't be a smart ass at the end when you're the fucking idiot.

  • @chrisrrox1 Not biase at all when I say this, as I admire both Nadal and Federer's game, but I'm pretty sure Federer did cry during the 2009 Australian Open Final when he lost to Nadal in five......

  • @hawaiianguy2991 Roddick cried when he lost in the wimbledon finals for the 3rd time to Federer. Theres a difference, Nadal he doesn't literally cry, he complains of sickness or injury and gives his opponent an attitude.

Federer cried because the match was close, he was that close of winning another GS and he lost it.

  • @ibanezatleti sucks nadal

"to watch a Pete Sampras versus Goran Ivanisevic match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. it is a few swings of the racquet. It was less eye-catching than what we do now. everyone enjoys the tennis we play much more. I am not saying we are playing better tennis. just more enjoyable tennis. For me in the past it was just serve. serve. serve"

Annoying. Overrated. Arrogant. Arrogant fans. sucks Nadal

  • @chrisrrox1 your the fucking idiot! Why hasn't federer won any grand slams this year hmmmm? Compare there stats when federer and nadal were both 24 years old and we will see who is the better won you federer fucker!

  • @nadal354 you know that Nadal is at his prime? federer is dropping down. Federer is getting old, losing his focus in matches, the Tsonga Federer match in Wimbledon kinda proves my point. I bet in a couple years when Nadal is Federer's age he won't even be CLOSE to winning a GS.

  • @nadal354 You sound so mature. I say you're at least 7 years old. But you forgot to answer my question, you don't want to be a hypocrite, no?

  • Comment removed

  • arrogant and smug comment. " to watch a Pete Sampras versus Goran Ivanisevic match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. it is a few swings of the racquet.

It was less eye-catching than what we do now. everyone enjoys the tennis we play much more. I am not saying we are playing better tennis. just more enjoyable tennis. For me in the past it was just serve. serve. serve"

always looks down past players. arrogant annoying cheater always, sucks

  • i dont think nadal is humble as federer. he comes across that way to many of u people as humble because his vocabulary in mixed language isnt as broad as federer. federer is more articulate. so he doesnt answer questions in much detail as federer because of his deficiency

  • nadal is the biggest loser on tour...who says he is a real champion has no idea about fair play and respect

  • great job ferrer. Nadal is really annoying always. again nadal loses to Davydenko. again nadal said. " I'm sick. I'm sick. " Davydenko = too old player. sucks excuse.

Nadal always fake of time-out. always fake take time. always ugly gamesmanship. always cheaters. always exaggerated appeal. always overaction to mad. Illegal coaching. exceding time limit between serves. etc. Annoying. Arrogant manner. Overrated. Arrogant fans. really sick

  • fantastic play by Ferrer ...

  • if ferrer plays like this every match.. he could get far and win.

  • Ferrer really saved tennis here, 4 in a row for Rafito would've been tragic.

  • @Radenko90 he saved tennis???

  • @ghlover2001

Yup, 4 slams in a row for Nadull would be tragic for tennis.

  • @Radenko90 original.

  • @Andy7157 Nadal is not humble that is a lie....Look at US Open 2010 when he beat Djokovic and him Djokovic came and gave him a hug but at Wimbledon when he lost he have some soft cold handshake....He is an arrogant asshole and I hope he never wins a GS in his life...I dont like Federer also but at least he is playing beautiful game,Nadal and his medical timeouts to change momentum of the match are a disgrace to the sport....

  • @ghlover2001 Of course he is ...Just because he sucks in english does not mean he is humble...

  • @Saberq1 lmao, OKAY

  • @Saberq1 He can speak Catalan also , woner if you speak it you serbian nazi pig. WTF did your thug Djerkoffvic win in 2009 and 2010 ? A Dubai title ? Also don't forget the rude way your faggot celebrated in Madrid in front of Rafa's exit gate , and after that he says Rafa's his closest friend on the tour . He's clearly a hypocrite pussy .

  • @ibanezatleti first of all fuck you and Rafa...Second I speak fluent Spanish,English,German and Italian so you are not even worth my time

  • @Saberq1 so ??? I speak Swedish , English , German , Italian , French , Dutch and Norwegian fluently . Get your head out of Djerk's ass you fucking serbian Nazi pig piece of shit .

  • Respond to this video... Also fuck you you motherfucker I hope you die

  • @Saberq1 I hope you and your whole family die in a crash accident you stupid serbian nazi pig . Your garbage country is full of cheap whores such as your mom , the bitch Ivanobitch , Jankovic ..... and many more . hence your mom gets fucked by criminals who are filling your country , that's why you're a shitty bastard .

  • @ibanezatleti I am not a Serb you stupid fuck

  • @Saberq1 It's written on your channel that you're a Serbian pig . So ?? if you're not then where are you from ? .

    let's hear a joke .

  • @ibanezatleti hahaha my girl made this profile you failed she is a Serb

  • @Saberq1 aha so you try to hide that you're a serbian pig huh ? So why did you get mad when I said ' serbian pig ' a month ago on a Rafa vid ? the serbian pigs aren't only ruthless criminals , they're also ashamed of their disgusting origins :D . Btw what kind of a whore is your girl is she your whore Mom/daughter/what exactly you disgusting pig ?

  • @ibanezatleti you muslim son of bitch I will guy your entire family you piss of shit

  • @Saberq1 hahahaha funnies shit i've ever read in a while . I'm Swedish you filthy Serbian punk . Btw , learn to write you son of a bitch , it's " piece of shit " not " piss " you piece of shit XD. Still loling about the Muslim thing , it seems that Serbian pigs like you in addition to what said , they have brains of monkeys . Your mom's pussy is clear to see as the sun is .

  • Nadal was very injured and in pain and he still plays extremely amazing for his injury .. amazing same with Del Porto in Wimbledon . nadal was hurt but he played to the end and won ! I love you rafa

  • Nadal tried to same injury excuse against Del Potro at Wimbledon and Delpo complained to the chair umpire. Nadal always has to cheat in some way to win when he is losing. It is a broken record and he is a loser.

  • @JordanjamesX You have a serious injury in your head, dipshit. And it's not an excuse; you genuinely suck ass, you poor angry kid spitting venom from a dark room. Relax, kiddo. Everything will be okay.

  • @JordanjamesX - You do not know what you are talking about . Man you got to relax .. VAMOS RAFA !

  • @JordanjamesX he can still play an archaic racquet sport better than you, and probably run faster too.

  • @JordanjamesX I see you are a federer fanatic. That fucking crybaby is no match for nadal. Why don't you suck federer's dick, you useless moron. Its not like you are married to him, you gay piece of shit. There is no reason to hate nadal. Who won all four grand slams at age 24, huh? Not that bitch federer. Look, when you reply this, don't insult someone a lot smarter then you, you idiot

  • @JordanjamesX you mad.

  • @JordanjamesX cool story bro.needs more dragons and shit

  • @JordanjamesX Wtf man?? Nadal is a legend like federer!!!

  • @JordanjamesX your stupid as fuck. try playing as many matches as hard as nadal plays, then come to me if your even alive

  • @JordanjamesX cool story bro..needs more dragons

  • Nadal is a total disgrace he couldn't even give David credit for kicking his ass! Nadal always has an injury excuse whenever he loses a tennis match he is completely pathetic and LAME!!!

  • @JordanjamesX Also the faggot Del potro took a Medical time .And hey , i'd like to see you beat a Rookie player in a Futures match you cunt .The guy you spend your whole time trolling his vids has made more more money than you and owns your hero Fagderer 17-8 keep it in your mind .

  • @JordanjamesX and then you woke up and realised you are fuckin retarded

  • Ferrer is the biggest pusher on the circuit. So boring to watch him play

  • Ferrer proves that you dont have to be tall to be ranked in the top ten He will always be my fav.

  • if rafa never had the injury he would have won this match in three straight sets

  • i love it so very much when nadal loses........i hate him to d core.....he just cant take defeat.......if he see's he going to loose den he will probably back out or will say say in the press conference dat he wasnt feeling 100 % or he is injured or he is sick........common man give us a break.......we know u r lying nadal.....

  • @rishirokr88 Or you just hate the fact that Nadal can beat anybody at his best. stupid tennis fan.

  • @rishirokr88 nadal beats everyone on his best day. takes cares of the others on his worst. we saw that clearly at the french open this year. never played well, but still managed to win b/c he's just that far ahead of the rest. U MAD, LMAO!!

  • @ghlover2001 not sure about it...and the "supremacy" of this ass-scratcher won't last eternally anyway...stop bl****g him !

  • @Surenaa91 your point's irrelevant. i mean, no shit nadal's "supremacy" (which, i guess you're not watching tennis cause he's not dominating anything) won't last eternally...nothing lasts forever. it doesn't make anything i've said less true. stay PRESSED, lol!

  • i love it so very much when nadal loses......

  • Christ, the power on show in this match looks pretty mad here. Ferrer was on fire.

  • @foul01 why you mad dude? cause rafas better than you? yeah have a seat fatty ,

  • @MrWalto69 The idea behind Rafa's game is that because he plays so tough and gritty all the time that he naturally experiences an injury because of how he plays his game. And if something like that occurs you really cannot use that as an excuse for the fact that you lost because of an "injury" when you impose it upon yourself. I am by no means trying to take anything away from Rafa but if you want to stay healthy and not get injured then take better care of yourself. Winners don't make excuses.

  • @SmashSpencer In fairness, he rarely does make excuses, in fact it seems quite often when interviewers and journalists are almost trying to make excuses for him he deflects it and pretty much always gives credit to his opponents.

  • @TopDog69 Yeah I had a feeling that's how it is because Rafa seems like a pretty chill dude but I guess it's more so his hardcore fans who just want him to succeed. And I understand that it can be hard to watch your favorite player lose but everyone has bad days you know. Just gotta know that they're a great player and in Rafa's case, #1 right now and that he'll pick himself back up and come harder next time.

  • @SmashSpencer Yeah, I do agree though, I mean I love watching Rafa, and his style and intensity is pretty amazing, but yeah it's going to take it's toll on you, especially on hard courts, dangerous enough doing slides on a hard court as it is. There's just times like this match where all you can do is hold your hands up and say fair play, outplayed, like Tsonga also at the Australian a few years before.

  • Comment removed

  • Nadal never loses when he is 100%!

  • @davd1986 To be 100%, he might need Dr Fuentes help...I dunno, anyway, just say....he isn't invincible, common

  • 7:00 holy crap!

  • @foul01 dude you're nothing but a jealous fat lazy troll,,,if you had a brain and watched the AO 2011 you would have seen that Rafa was owning all off he's oppenents until he got injured before the Ferrer game, yeah ok Ferrer played a good solid game nothing taken away from him ,,but you can quite clearly see Rafa was struggling not because he was playing bad but because off he's injury ,,diss him all you want about excuses but truth is,,he's better than you ,,you mirin ? and you mad? yeah youmad

  • @MrWalto69

i don't know what you're smoking, but i need some

  • Ferrer is a very solid player with seemingly no big weapons and no big weaknesses.

  • @Ledwix Tie breaks are his only weakness. Watch the US open 2010 vs Verdasco. Other than that a solid player.

  • I was there! :)

  • @Aseanization man I'm jealous :). My two favorite players! lol

  • I saw that 17 min game where Ferrer broke Nadal the first time. It was epic and beyond description.

  • Here's an interesting fact: Nadal is 13-4 head to head against Ferrer. Nadal has beaten Ferrer 10 out of 11 times on clay. Nadal has only beaten Ferrer 2 times on hardcourt (3 times if you count when Ferrer pulled out after a thigh injury in the first set). Ferrer has beaten Nadal 3 times on hardcourt (twice in Slams).

When Nadal and Ferrer play on hardcourt, it's a great encounter. Nadal has problems against Ferrer on hard surfaces and Ferrer's great return of serve forces Nadal to grind it out

  • Always excuses.. excuses.. every pro player has their injuries and don't cry about it whenever they lose. Ferrer played amazing, all credit to him.

  • Man Ferrer is too underrated. Those were some solid points from him.

  • playing like nadal comes with a price. if he didnt play soo hard that he gets those injuries, then he wouldnt win half the matches he does. thats why federer was a tru genius. he was able to win the matches he did, and generally injury free throughout his career

  • man if Ferrer keeps playing like this on the hard courts he could make it into the US Open and the next AO. Very underrated player IMO.

  • rafa was sick and had injurys

he gets injurys from winning to much

  • rafa was sick and had injurys

  • Vamos Dahveed

  • You can't say that he lost because of an injury and because he was sick. Ferrer played better he was painting the lines the whole match running nadal back and forth and pulling out amazing shots. Nadal may have been sick but he still lost in straight sets it wasn't even too close. If Nadal had taken ferrer to 5 sets than he could use injuries as an excuse. But for the #1 to lose so badly you cant honestly say it was just because he wasnt feeling well.

  • I just don't pay attention to what the players say, when it comes to these sorts of things. Nadal does it, Federer does it, Djokovic does it . . . pretty much all of them do it. It's always, "I wasn't feeling 100%," or, "I was really fatigued," or, "I didn't play my best," or, "I'm getting over XYZ injury." I find these comments to often be annoying; sometimes it's just stating a fact, but a lot of the time it seems to be in the vein of trying to demerit their loss, which is disrespectful.

  • @John11inch

Simply, there's no reason to expect that every time two tennis players step onto the court, both of them are going to play their absolute top game. It's not going to happen; those sorts of matches are very rare. So for a player to say what is basically, "I didn't play my very top game; if I did then I would have won," just speaks to that player's consistency. So what if they didn't? The other guy probably didn't, either. By this sort of logic, Gulbis should be world number 1.

  • @John11inch

It's not like a player's own consistency is some sort of outside force, objecting its random will onto players in such a way that, if a good player loses, it's not his fault. It's just a dumb argument about dumb comments.

  • Ferrer's game when it is on is a nightmare for other baseline hitters like Nadal and Djokovic. This man is totally underrated!

  • Nadal is such a liar and the media are pathetic for not challening this jerk for making excuses when he LOSES matches. Everytime Nadal loses he always has some injury it is amazing how he gets up in the damn morning. Nadal LOST this match because Ferrer played BETTER. The Australians have a saying fit to play and fit to go! If Nadal was too injured he should NOT have played the match. Once Nadal steps on the tennis court he needs to act like a man and stop acting like a chump. T

  • but all credits to ferrer, nadal's injury has no effect on all the winners that ferrer hit. he was just on fire.

  • nadal even said that he doesn't want to blame the loss on injury. he respects ferrer and he also said that he doesn't want to use the injury as an excuse, and that he would appreciate it if everyone can respect that. now THAT is truly humble, what great sportsmanship.

  • pshh. even if nadal wasnt "hurt" he still woulda lost. ferrer deserves all the credit.

  • lets accept the truth here: Ferrer played tremendously good.

  • why do people keep saying it was an excuse of him being injured? Don't you even know that Nadal's game is based on his legs? Other players maybe good with their hands but Nadal is mostly with his legs, when his legs are injured, it's like Roger's right arms are injured, and if that, would you think Roger would be able to play well? It's simply because youre all Fed's fans and you dont like Rafa coz he's leading the H2H

And by the way, that Miami semi-final, did not you see that?

  • @subzoroboy Most tennis players play with injures Nadal injuries is nothing new. The problem is the other players do NOT ANNOUNCE they are INJURED when they lose matches. Nadal is the only one that does that kind of bullshit.

  • @JordanjamesX Most tennis players also don't complete the career slam at 24 years of age. So, you're not really in any position to insult one of the greatest champions of all time from your mother's basement, am I right?

  • The australian open courts in 2011 were playing like clay courts !

Being a HC slam it HAS to be made faster !!

  • we all know nadal is a freaking cheetah, but this time the cheetah got murdered by the lion. lol

  • LOL at some of the comments on this... those who think nadal would somehow concoct this injury down 2-1 in the first set, having won the last 3 majors, and against an opponent he has dominated cos he thought he was being outplayed, are completely out of it...prior to this match nadal was 12-3 head to head against ferrer, and had won the last 4... and his record in 5 set matches speaks for itself...so i dont understand how anyone could possibly think he'd thrown the towel in 1-2 in the first set

  • NADAL ALL THE WAY!

  • I don't think Nadal was injured coming to this match. Ferrer though pushed him to his limits. I don't think this will be the last. Ferrer at AO11, Murray at AO10, Soderling at FO09, anyone who can make Nadal run excessively on the court will make him injured. Injuries are no surprises anymore.

  • Conditioning is probably the most underrated stuff in fans' mind. Its the most important part of sports, if u cannot move well u cannot win. Nadal can beat anyone on tour at 100% but he can't maintain it. He play at 50% or 30%, 20% much more frequently than federer, i think he is more unhealthy than 30yrs old federer. Federer plays at 60% consistently at this age, 90% consistently in his prime.

  • Stop making excuses for Rafa, he lost because the guy on the other side of the net was crushing the ball. Look at the rally at 04:36, Ferrer's attack is pretty much unstoppable. And he was doing that the whole game. Nadal simply couldn't handle it.

  • Nadal knows his style of play is screwing him up, short and long term. Because he chooses not to change that, his "injury losses" mean nothing any longer.

  • All those who say that Nadal can't play better, have to watch some of his matches from 2010.Super agressive and making much more winners.I'm sorry but if Nadal played like this at the US Open Verdasco or Djokovic should have beaten him.I don't know if some injury was the problem but he was struggling with his every match at AO(except with Sweeting). Its was clear that something was wrong and he wouldn't win the title.Next time Rafa will beat Ferrer and you'll see

  • LOL where is the hamstring injury? Nadal is still running fast. Many excuses because u can't even run with hamstring strain. When he knows ferrer is playing better he comes out with it.

  • @Baddieko he actually had a partial muscle tear which was confirmed by doctors...ass

  • Ferrer was lucky he was able to play 110% that night and Rafa was playing with an injury. Normally, Ferrer wouldn't be able to hit constant winners every shot every match. Watch Ferrer's next match, he breaks down against Murray. Same case for Soderling in 2009 when he beat Nadal in 4 sets but lost in 3 sets in 2010. Everyone have their lucky days. Ferrer just happened to get double lucky.

  • that was a humiliating defeat. the whole match ferrer was putting pressure on nadal. he was in a completely inferior position. he mentally gave up because you can see how stunned his movements got by the end of the game

  • Nadal chose this style of play so there shouldn't be any reason to feel like he should have won if healthy. Injuries are parts of his game, if he gets injured during a match, that's his fault for playing the way he plays. Nadal was fit coming to the match, and there's no arguing that Ferrer truly pushed Nadal to his limits and got him injured as Nadal was trying to fight back. In that case, you got to give credits to Ferrer, coz he played unbelievable despite a 1-11 record.
