There's a reason companies and the govt have a preference for veterans (mainly their discipline) I don't think anyone should be excluded from employment based on sex, color, handicap status, sexual orientation or whatever, however it should not be a reason people are hired either. Also, i know you were trying to just make a metaphor, so i wasn't saying it was unrelated as in we weren't talking about swans. I never said i thought any race was more beautiful than any other. Yes the majority of a race may be more attractive than other races but in every race there are always beautiful people and people who are unattractive.

You don't have to like the guy but to deny his intelligence is just ignorant. You don't show up and become president of the Harvard Law Review and graduate in the top 10% of the class. That isn't smart-that's CRAZY smart. Any lawyer or law school student will tell you that.
There are a lot of things I'm not likeing from him now but facts are facts-the guy is smart. He is inexperienced, but inexperienced leaders have succeded before where experience hasn't, so that's no guarantee of a problem.
